I use 3 fingers, but then again, I play yi : ^)
I'd say he'd use four fingers for his abilities.
Everyone uses four fingers for QWER.
I have my fingers on qwer with the pinky on q. It doesnt bother me that much
I've been using 4 for as long as i've played league, until just now i didnt even know some people used 3 fingers on qwer.
I think I'm bad cuz I only use 1 finger for abilities
I came from a game with f1-12 were attack spells, alt + ~ switched weapons, and page-up page-down to switch spell pages (there were 3), and tab locked a recent target.
So while I do only use 3 for q, w, and er I keep my pinky close to shift (to move up to tab/tilde still.) and my thumb on space (right next to l.alt).
Honestly, I have a gaming mouse. I have yet to open it's package and plug it in, let alone set QWER on the side buttons.
Not me. index is on E, and i use it for R too. I use 3 fingers for qwer.
I'm a weirdo. I don't use the WAD for FPSs, I use the WERD. W-left, E-forward, R-right, D-backward. Usually going forward in Q3, so why have forward misaligned with the strafe keys. Plus I get QAZ for other functions on my pinky. Q=taunt, A = toggle between mouse sensitivity 3 and 15, Z=machine gun.

Sona player
yes
this style with
on F is the superior style
Yes, I have my hand with pinky on Q and index on R cause that's what I learned from the tutorial. I've heard that some people have their pinky on shift and their fingers on QWE since it's a similar hand position to FPS games and since you don't use your ult that much unless you are playing a champ like Teemo or something.
I think learning to have my fingers on QWE would be better cause I hate playing Ezreal simply cause my pinky sorta gets tired of Qing all the time.
I only ever used my ringfinger for Q, middlefinger for W and my indexfinger for E and R.
I tried using the pinky for Q and so on, but I noticed changing the playstyle would need too much thinking while concentrating.
I use shift all the time for attack move, that's where my pinky's at.
I use 4
What else would I use? My toes?
I use two fingers.... WASD is what ive always used, with the middle finger for QW and the pointer finger for ER Its just.... natural.
I've always used four fingers... people use three fingers...? [zombie-brand-mindblown]
Whoa, so many people don't. I always played with four fingers, just figured that was the was it was intended.
Is that the normal thing for people to do? I only played Starcraft before so shift qwe felt the most natural and most people I've seen do that. What did you do before?
I use
ring finger for A and Q (rests on A) middle for W and E (rests between them) index for R, D, and F (usually rests on D, as my flash in on F so on any potential accidents i'd rather blow another spell that is not flash)
if we're about to teamfight though or I know something is gona break out, I usually go ring on Q, middle on W, and index on E for a caster/mage type champ
Always done that for league then switch back WASD for CSGO.
I don't think I could play like that. I would end up hitting my ult by accident so much
I have a Razor Naga so I use all my fingers on my left hand for holding my beer. For all my less important tasks I just use my right thumb.
I use three.
You're not going to be using your Ult as often that's why, also playing wth my pinky feels weird.
I have small hands so my pinky rests on my capslock, and my other fingers on qwe. Ults are precious so I have to consciously make a decision to move my index finger to R.
(In MMOs, my pinky serves to active Alt abilities using shift. I have VERY few of those, since i have a gaming mouse for abilities 1-0, like my trinket. )
