Thresh and Relic Shield
Why cant thresh last hit minions(at more than his aa damage is) to get gold and heal their teammate like other supports can?

Because he is ranged. Read the item before you question why it doesn't work.
Execute is melee only.
Thresh is ranged.
Read the bloody tooltips.
Relic shield only executes on melee attacks. Despite the weird nature of thresh autos (they actually bypass wind wall, like kayle autos), they are still ranged.
Any kills from any source can trigger relic shield without the execute, which is actually pretty funny on champs like galio, since it lets him help waveclear with Q.

thresh isnt a melee support he is a ranged support
He can give the healing and gold. He just needs to last hit since he is ranged and the execute on relic is melee only.
