I recently hit diamond for the first time and im clueless on the mmr gains and loses rn per win/loss. As soon as i hit diamond i had d5 mmr 0 lp. I won 6 games straight and got into promos for d4 and my mmr was still the same!! I proceeded to go 0-2 in my promos and dramatically dropped mmr. This is all based op.gg. I foun this very wierd as when i was in play or lower winning 3-4 games In a Row would put me a whole division above my mmr. Now in diamond I have yet to move my mmr at all. Anyone know why? Im very conscious of my mmr for some reason lol. Id hate to have p1 mmr in diamond. Id rather play with diamonds lol.

No third party site is an accurate source of information on mmr, they are just guessing your mmr based on the people you go up against or something like that, I don't recall exactly.

Just don't worry about it, your real mmr is a secret, your not supposed to know it. Take what you read on third party sites with a grain of salt.

op.gg is one game behind on almost everything and mmr is a SECRET number that riot gives to NOBODY so the information is an educated guess at the VERY BEST.

Best way to tell is how much actual LP you are gaining per win. 20ish is about normal, 23+ is high. 25+ is skipping divisions range from what I can tell. On a side note, it is also effected by matchmaking feels like trash right now. If your team is significantly favored to win you will gain less and vice versa.
