I just want to know what happens if Kalista dies while holding onto her soul-bound ally. Do they both die?

Hopefully to counter this, Riot disconnects the link when that person disconnects or doesn't leave spawn for a minute.

Seems like Kalista would be at her most powerful in a duo queue or team queue. That way you can coordinate and greatly reduce the chances the Bound teammate will quit or disconnect (unless they're total asshats).

Checking on the PBE, you can buy another black spear and re-bind for no cost, I think.

Well, in the rare occurrence that there is an afk, there is only a 1/4 chance that it is the person you linked with, not to mention that most afks/dcs happen at the start of the game so you wouldn't be able to bond with them in the first place. If they happen to leave mid-game it's probably gg anyways, and at that point wouldn't really matter that she has no ult because it's a 4v5.

Basically, there's an extremely small chance of this happening and when it does it's a 4v5 anyways.

She probably gets another spear, why is everyone thinking its all GG after that?

Easy fix, as the guy goes afk/dcs/etc. Kalista regains her spear as soon as she has a free item slot.

Why can't her ultimate be usable on any champion? And the soul-bound allows for bonus damage if that said champion is used for the ultimate.
