For a game of risk reward Morgana in the bot lane seems to have large rewards for little risk.
While this AOE when building support does virtually no damage its impressive range allows for a very easy gold stacks on Spellthief's Edge.
There needs to be something that forces Morgana to actually leave the fog of war.
It's mana-gated and has a huge cooldown. And like you said, it does no damage when Morgana doesn't level it or invest in AP.
Additionally, versus a Sona or Nami, Morgana tends to lose trade/harass fights because her Black Shield's cooldown is awful.
Eh? I was thinking the opposite. Morgana has little reward for a high cd spell that people can just walk away from mid-late game.
But then again, she's not supposed to be a damage focused mage.
450 auto attack range. She will not be proc'ing it with autos.
But I really do not care how she does as a support as I pretty much only play her is solo lanes.
