Supports are getting f**ked by the grading system right now

I just went 0/0/20 on soraka and got an A+. 0/0/20 is literally a perfect game for support. That should be an S+. This isn't just this game either, I consistently support with almost no deaths and upwards of 20 assists and still almost never get an S-, let alone an S or an S+ What's the point of the grading system if there's a role that can pretty much never get a perfect score even when they play a perfect game?

People keep saying that but I've never had any issues.

It takes into account more than just KDA, it takes into account all of the stats relevant in the top X% of support soraka games. Things like Healing Done and Kill Participation aren't measured in a support's KDA.

Actually kill participation is counted. Between kills and assists you want 65% participation over all.

To the OP, looking over your stats in that game, i'm guessing you got around A+. Over all, you did pretty well. Your wards were fantastic. Only thing I could suggest is always shoot for 20+ cs and maybe you could have pushed a bit harder and got a few more assists or a kill.

Honestly, i've never had issues getting S- or higher on supports. You aren't always going to however. You have to push yourself and with Soraka, you need a good team, or it won't matter how much you heal.

15% of sorakas performed better than you. 0/0/20 on soraka is pretty brainless to do anyhow since you can still contribute by never being anywhere near the enemy team and spamming W.

You guys need to realize that this system incentivizes soraka getting more gold. That is not what you what ur supports to be thinking and what you want to be give praise to. Currently it should value more of your ability to impact the game such as healing or hooks landed or some other statline. I think this current system has much work to be had.

I get S-, S+, and S all the time on supports - I think warding is very important.

Also: You can never play a perfect game of league.

I agree to an extent, but Soraka has never been an issue for me. Honestly, if you can learn to run around with 100 health in a team fight and not die, you'll get an S.

But, I agree that I feel that supports get less help with this grading system. If I run in front of a Jhin bullet to save my ADC and then die as the Akali jumps on me, that means she wasted cooldowns on a support. That gives my ADC time to do stuff. If I play as Blitzcrank and pull a Katrina off my ADC only to die cause I'm in the enemy team, I still did my job. Yeah, if I can do my job without dying, that's better, but it's still something. Catching a Darius mid ult over my 100 health teammate with my Bard ult without clipping my teammate so they can walk away should get me something. That 4 man Crescendo into MF ult should mean something. Even Devouring your teammate as Tahm Kench and spitting them over a wall before you die should mean something. Hell, Phantom Dancer can determine how many times it's saved your life, why aren't saves/sacrifices counted for supports?

I mean, yay, my lulu got three assists on the ADC's triple kill, let's just ignore the fact that the ADC was 1v3 until she flash ulted, shielded, exhausted, and poly-morphed the right people untill he got that triple, those details don't make her assists seem more impressive or anything.
