To clarify Yuumi changes are not "buffs" they are nerfs". I was excited when I first heard the word "buffs" then looked up the pbe notes and realized they were anything but buffs.

Rito Please make balance changes around the 99.999999% of league players instead of a few hundred pro players.

Recap of yuumi history & previous nerfs (a) yuumi released with worst opening win rate of any champ in league history (her win rate is still at the absolute bottom of all champs) champion.gg Argument: yes well that's because she's played in low elo. Rebuttle "Low elo is the majority of league players." (b) slow on yuumi q - now her slow is so insignificant you can barely catch anyone unless your attachee has a gap close or additional slow, and if the person running has no dashes, speed up items or summs (often unlikely at least mid-late game).

9.23 changes To start One of the most unique aspects of yuumi is her "you and me" attaching. (1) Adding a 0.25s channel time when attaching from an unattached state - this makes it difficult for yuumi to detach mid-skirmish to ult or try to take a stun hit (such as morg stun) or try to proc another quick aery shield. Even during laning this makes detaching much riskier; things like thresh flay already, lux stun, etc could interrupt your re-attach. And let's keep in mind re-attach has an internal c/d that you have to manage to avoid getting caught out which often meant getting stunned and all in by the opposing team. Often if you got caught out/stunned while detached, you'd get away with a sliver of health (if you managed to re-attach) this 0.25 literally is a death sentence to detaching (additional support for yuumi becomes an adaptive force afk bot). I can't even detach to r now in a skirmish because of the cast time to you and me (2) Yuumi no longer follows summoner spell teleport - now you can no longer attach to a top lane tp (teleport) or a group tp to objectives. No more dropping a ward or healing a team mate, then quickly re-attaching to catch a quick tp back to the rift. This also means boots may now be a viable purchase because of your lack of mobility through attaching (running to lane now since you can't catch a tp). (3) bop and block restores mana - not an issue early game if you managed mana effectively and backed to get some mana regen items. Mid-late game mana wasn't an issue whatsoever. (4) zoomies movement speed 25%>15% (now useless) (4a) no charges - reduces outplay because reduces proc of item heal buffs like ardent censor and runes (4b) Healing 30/40/50/60/70 >> 70/110/150/190/230 / Mana Cost 30/40/50/60/70 >> 70/110/150/190/230 - Healing and mana cost are being more then doubled effectively making 1 heal = 2 previous heal charges. All this does is reduce item proc outplay and heal charge management outplay. This makes it easier and less fun to play yuumi. (4d) buffs attack speed 25/30/35/40/45% - you did that with ardent censer anyway and could itemize in real-time according to the current match situation (i.e: rushing atheenes unholy grail instead of ardent censor if no champs on your team has hyper carry potential). There is a limit to attack speed this pretty much makes ardent censor (a healing item) useless on yuumi now as you'll way overcap attack speed on any adcs or other attack speed oriented champs.

So let's sum up the most impactfull yuumi changes. Now Yuumi can barely q slow anyone to catch them, e zoomies barely makes a champ walk faster, has reduced skill through heal charge management, get's a nominal buff to mana which was never an issue for even remotely experienced yuumi players, and gets an attack speed buff that invalidates a healing item and overcaps attack speed, basically making it useless on adcs or high attack speed champs. It's hard enough to be a yuumi main: your champ has the lowest win rate in the game, adcs call your champ "useless...please pick something else" in low elo, but yuumi is the only champion you love to bits and these changes just break your heart. I had to say something. If your a yuumi fan give this post some love.

Arguments: (a) "99% of the time she sits on someone throwing qs, her r p much requires someone else to position for her too" Reply "During laning managing item proc shield, aery, and yuumi shield to win 2v2 fights actually requires some skill. In skirmishes if you've mastered managing shields and passive you can mitigate a ton of damage speed up ur carries dps and more. Often I will detach forward to land an ULT stun, or detach to move where my adc isnt or strafe sideways during an r ULT (especially if its solo/duo or were uncoordinated / not on comms" (b) these changes are designed for regular play Reply: "I'm a low elo regular player, these changes are not exciting...They vastly lower the skillcap for yuumi and let's be honest players already call yuumi an "afk champ". These changes to yuumi including the adaptive force increase essentially make yuumi the "afk champ" that people made fun of her for being. She becomes just an afk adaptive force bot and that's not really much fun.

Yuumi is not playable anymore, I think riot should just delete this champion instead of making all these stupid changes.

I just played her for 6 games recently, and I can't believe they make a 5 sec CD for W if she gets any immobilizing effect and that includes (Yasuo Q, Aatrox Q, and W, Darius E, yes, all the skills work with Yasuo's R and all other stuns, roots, hooks basically all CCs) EVEN SHES NOT USING W, her W will be in CD !!! That means she can't get out in the team fight and the lane is much harder. I usually play her to dodge cc skill for my team and get back in and refresh Aerie shield, now I will just die because of the 5 sec CD. So, should Yuumi go tanky now?

Also, Let's compare the new Yuumi E to Lulu W

Yuumi E Cost: 100/115/130/145/160 mana Effect: 25/30/35/40/45% attack speed Heal: 70/110/150/190/230 (+0.3 ability power) Movement Speed: 15%, no longer decays over time Duration: 3 seconds

Lulu W Cost: 65 Mana Range: 650

  1. Effect: 25/30/35/40/45% Attack Speed Movement Speed: 30 (+5% Ability Power)% Movement Speed Duration: 3/3.25/3.5/3.75/4 seconds PLUS: On Enemy Cast: Polymorphs an enemy champion for 1.25/1.5/1.75/2/2.25 seconds, disabling their ability to attack or cast spells and reducing their base Movement Speed by 60.

Now, Q is a useless skill because it was nerfed over and over. W is a suiciding skill (used to be refreshing Aerie's shield). E is a lower version and half of the Lulu'W.

Please nerf R next batch and I will play her in diamond rank to troll my team. :D
