Damage Mitigation Hack?

Has anyone noticed a recent influx of players in random ranked rocking pure ADC / AP items and somehow pulling off these absurd 90% damage mitigation tank roles? Normally, I just attribute it to some unforeseen item like runes/masteries, but I just played yet another game where opponents are unkillable(same levels, same item tiers, classes not overwhelmingly countered). I am not normally one to be so suspicious, but I just watched a Yorick take on a 1v5 team without even needing to use his special after death, and only losing maybe 10% life(same levels, same item tiers). My friend tells me, which I doubt, that there is some new damage mitigation hack where players can install some third party bot and that it some how changes how LoL perceives damage mitigation from items. Does this exist? Is LoL planning to fix it if it does?

Fed Yorick probably. He has passive 20% damage reduction max, tons of healing... everything you need to perform such a thing.

Its called life steal when paired with range and crit its not really fair to people who have to build defense to get less survivability. On the other hand Yorick has damage mitigation its part of his kit read his passive but to 1v5 either he was fed or people werent straigh up fighting him but going in 1 by one

You can't hack League of legends because everything is managed by the server. The best you can do is exploit a bug in the programming, but actually hacking, injecting coding? Nope. If you do, bet your pretty little ass Riot would have you in jail.
