Nidalee players in Challenger and LCS using cougar q before e.

Why do Challenger and pro players use nidalee's cougar Q before E when combo'ing.. the Q does more damage the lower the enemy is because it's an execute. So wouldn't it be better to E first?

I think when you W and Q the Q is guaranteed to hit or something... I've played nid before and have people flash my w but still get hit by q. Pretty sure the animations just combine when you use it like that.

That's a great question?
Maybe they are trying to guarantee the Q damage in case the enemy flashes? Maybe they know that it's safer to use E second because the range and AOE guarantees a hit?

Ranked isn't about skill ... it is about braindead counterpicking and reliability.

Q is reliable and does a lot of damage ... while E, if dodged, will deal 0 damage and roots u for its casting time.

Why leave to skill what u can take for sure with reliability ?

Q is almost guaranteed to hit once your in range. E is flaky and doesn't always respond when cast so it's basically an insurance policy if your Q doesn't kill. If your Q can hit your E will hit right after but if you try and hit with Q after E you might not be in range to get Q off. E is just hard to work into a combo effectively practice with her and you'll see

Isn't it an auto reset?
