I can't carry low elo as a smurf?
I have two high plat accounts. This account has p1/d5 mmr but somehow i win more games in this elo than i do on a silver smurf??? wtf is going on why can I not carry silver?

It's not season 5 anymore buddy when in some games you would go 20/0 and carry the fuck out of your teammates. Nah , now if ONE LANE IS BAD YOU LOOSE. Bot is first time adc? GG you cant carry no matter how hard you try
Smurfing makes you worse... you develop bad tendencies that won't help you and you get lazy. My suggestion is to not smurf because not only do you make the game toxic for new/bad players, but you aren't doing yourself any favors either. Focus on getting better on your main plat/d5 account. plat/d5 players have a lot they can improve on still. This is a team game 1 player should not be able to win 1v9...
Because silver players are a lot more unreliable, you might have to adapt to that. xD
It's a diff game. Just like LCS is different than SoloQ Challenger. You have to assume that 7-8 of the other players in the game are clueless, but which ones? HAHA! That's the trick and then hope you have the other 1-2 that are tolerable on your team. It's pretty much a coin flip.
When you play in range of the Silver MMR, you have to play with the intention of carrying at least two teammates in every game. If you main utility/tanks, you will have a horrific roller coaster ride.
When I play top lane, I like to play 
because they have no idea how to play against it. They always send 2-3 people top to try to deal with the proxy. This inherently gives you the power to carry several teammates.
When I jungle, 
is one of the only champions that I would play seriously in the jungle. He can push turrets AND be everywhere at once with his speed. This makes him excellent for carrying teammates.
When I mid, I usually pick 
but I don't recommend him for carrying. He takes too long to come online. To carry teammates from the mid lane, you need great AOE for teamfights or high mobility for carrying your other lanes.
I don't ADC. If I did, I would pick Kog'maw, Twitch, Jinx, and Tristana every game. It will always go late game in this elo if you pay attention to both side lanes.
When I support, it is all about Janna, Sona, and Taric. Good luck though because there is nothing you can do to really "carry". Warding is secondary since no one in this elo will pay attention to them or know how to use them effectively. If you deep ward one side of the enemy jungle, your teammates won't use the process of elimination to determine where the enemy jungler is and is NOT. They will also all leave their lanes and run all the way across the map just to fight the moment a ward spots someone. Spoiler alert: They never make it to the stupid fight in time, resulting in everyone dying 1 at a time.
TL:DR
Pick Singed and make 3 people chase you all over the map while your teammates HOPEFULLY continue to push lanes. Hopefully you don't get games where every teammate will run across the map to try to help you.
