Ranked play and unranked

I just finished a ranked game and I honestly felt bad that we won.
One of their players was clearly new to the game or at least not at the same caliber as everyone else(low gold high silver). This poor Janna went 0/14/4 and I know was getting flamed by her team (I don't think the team was trying to be mean I think they were frustrated that the person couldn't play as well). She seemed like she wasn't 100% familiar with ranges on certain abilities of both her own and my team. The other lanes were actually doing well (not extraordinary but well) however once outside the laning phase it just wasnt a contest.

I decided to look into it after and it was an unranked player, with no mastery level higher than 2 on any champion, and hadn't played a game in so long that other than her last game no other game was listed in recently played. Now granted when they stopped playing a 6 months - a year ago they might have been might have been even high gold in game play and it is possible to retain ones skills through games like dota and heroes but it really felt uneven.

I am thinking that in a certain point in the season maybe an additional factor could be added to the LP calculations for a team with an unranked player, where if the team loses it looks at the grade of the unranked player/players and for something like a C or below the LP loss is lessened or maybe even for a D its a Loss prevented for the big mismatch. Same thing could go for if the player does really well like an S or S+ the opposing team that lost loses less LP than normal. I know that the ranking system isn't a perfect indicator of skill but when an unranked person gets added (especially this late in the season)it can have some very big swings. Also something like this might already be in the system since we don't know the matchmaking formula but I figured I would throw it out to the people.
