So I would like riot to take a look Kha'zix
WARNING LONG POST INCOMING YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!
So My favorite bug from the void has seen many many changes over the patches and I think I speak for a lot of Kha'zix mains out there when I say hes kinda in a little bit of a weak spot because of how hard the jungle hits. I have a couple of proposed changes that I think would make the bug more balanced and more enjoyable for both the player playing as him and those playing against him. Now without any further stalling here are the changes I will propose:
1st change: Make the first evolution devolve two of his other abilities;
Lets say you evolve Taste Their Fear first, you then his Void Spike and his Leap would devolve such that Void Spike is now melee range and Leap no longer does damage when he lands.
Or lets say you evolve his Void Spike so that it is now still the ranged tool it is now with three spikes and such but it devolves his Q to do massively less damage and his R so that he can only go into stealth once.
For the sake of simplicity right now I have linked Q and R for the same evolution/devolve line and W and E so the evolution does not effect that ability when the other is evolved, for example : if R is evolved first Q is not effected and so on. This change would also effect the later evolutions seeing as a devolved ability will have to cater to the first ability that is evolved putting him more into the role that the first evolution wants him to be example Pokey vs. All-in.
I do realize this is kinda a massive change for the bug but i believe it is needed to put him into balance because, when he was strong he could poke a champion down then could go all in on an opponent to kill them once they are low. My next change isn't necessarily a side-by-side change to the bug but more of if the first change doesn't happen I will also consider the next one as a change:
2nd Change Complete Rework of Kit:
Passive: Unseen Threat-Removed
New Passive: Isolated Target- When there is an isolated target near Kha'zix he now gains 20% bonus movement speed when moving towards an isolated enemy.
Q: Taste Their Fear- damage increased to do 85/110/130/160/200 + 120% bonus ad
New Evolved Claws- Damage decreased slightly to 90/120/150/ 180/ 220 + 250% bonus ad and now Kha'zix gets 10 bonus ad for every 10% of health a champion is missing . Old Passive-Removed
W: Void Spike- is now the same range as Evolved Claws
Evolved Spike Racks: Now is same range as void spike and champions can now be hit by multiple spikes to do half the damage of the original spike
E: Leap- damage component is now removed
Evolved Wings- Mana cost of all spells is now doubled for 5 seconds after Kha'zix uses the reset on his wings
R: Void Assault- now is one 10 second long Invisibility
Evolved active camouflage- now for 2 seconds after he turns invisible Kha'zix is untargetable by auto attacks and spells (does not include summoner spells)
Now for some information on the changes I made and why I made them, the evolved q is so that he has a way to execute things without it being a percentage health thing to help him secure objectives and kill low health targets ( which every assassin should be able to do).
The void spike change is something that's prob been needed since his release because for the life of me I could not see a reason why an assassin needed that much poke especially coming out of the jungle. With the evolved W i figured since hes in melee range for his attack he should now be able to do a lot more damage with his abilities.
His leap was kinda more of a logical change for me....why should just jumping on opponent deal damage ya know??....The evolved wings is prob the biggest nerf I gave him but is one that I feel was needed given the buffs I believe he got from the rest of his kit and the fact the biggest complaint other then being poked to death by him was the fact that he can just get reset after reset and not pay anything for it now he has to think about what he's doing or he will be killed.
I'll be honest about his R i didn't exactly know how to change it to make it feel unique, and my change prob doesn't do the best job of doing that. I am open to any suggestions with this skill.
So these are my changes for him what do you guys think? Obviously numbers would prob have to be tweaked but I'm asking about core design flaws and all that?...I am open to any suggestions/idea you guys have for him and will change as popularity suggests.
