10 ban system is stupid/no reason to nerf yasuo
First off, I personally think that the 10 bans system is inefficient and poorly designed. I would have preferred for a system akin to the one recently used in the LCS, so that necessary, OP champions can be banned in the first round, while people can still get their champion(like Yasuo or Lee) that is disliked. THis way, 10 bans still exist, but it's not as oppressive to people who play these popular champions. As a Yasuo main, I'd like to focus on yasuo. I don't really see why we should keep nerfing this champion, especially because of how little he will be played after this new system. If you nerf him, his playrate will go down, but people will still ban him because of his seemingly "unfun" kit. If you're not in low elo, there's almost NO reason to even THINK that this champion is broken; CC completely shuts him down and counters him, so all you have to do is throw your cc at him and watch him melt. I also know that a lot of people don't like the windwall, but it's far from broken. Just because it's a unique ability that can block projectiles, doesn't make it broken. It's one of Yasuo's only tools to survive, and it's almsot completely useless against melee champions that beat him in the early-mid game, and sometimes even in the late game. All you have to do to counter it is to wait it out or walk through/around it, and use your cc to prevent him from being able to retaliate. Even slows are extremely effective here. If you think his e is oppressive, all you need to do is let him push and kill the minions so that he has nothing to dash to to outplay you. Even better, freeze the lane and try to zone him with your range. Once again, CC is extremely effective here. I think that Riot is just nerfing Yasuo because a lot of low elo players either don't want to learn how to deal with him, or don't know how to deal with him, but it's not fair to us high elo Yasuo mains who have to struggle against people who know how to counter Yasuo.
