@Phreak @Meddler Any reason why Aatrox's Blood Price does not proc lifesteal?

I've always wondered why this was a special case in terms of bonus damage on-hit auto attacks. I'm not a mathematician, so I'm curious to know how "OP" it would be in terms of early or late game. Would it make it so people consider not using Blood Thirst assuming you do get enough life steal therefore making it a useless skill?

Edit: Wrote enhanced auto instead of on-hit. Edit 2: For those curious there are many abilities with on-hit that proc lifesteal.

Pretty much no spells apply life steal. The only ones that do are quite special: Parrrley and Mystic Shot are fairly obvious examples of this. Otherwise, you should never consider skill damage to apply lifesteal. The ones that do are auto-attack replacements.

It is an on hit effect, not an enhanced auto attack. On hit effects do not proc life steal normally.
