Don't max rake on Talon if you're against Fizz

Thanks for this. As an avid hater of Fizz, I've been wanting to pick up Talon. I mean, I own him. I've owned him since release, but I like his kit a lot, and I've been afraid to mid with him cuz of champions like Fizz. Hope this works.

Without your W max your teamfighting potential and waveclearing will be too bad. Maxing Q on him has too many downsides to be reliable, ask any Talon main and they'll tell ya the same. To be fair though, you shouldn't play Talon into Fizz either way, Fizz atm is way stronger and Talon cannot escape his burst at all.
