Bronze and their opinions

It goes basically like this:

Got beaten by X champ - OMG this champ is OP. You can play full AP Nunu and if u destroy someone he will flame- what a retarded champ, noob champ, NOOB... etc and i dont even have to say what would have happened if u're playing some assassin. For example i watched master smurfing in bronze 5 playing katarina, he got like 40+ kills, 3 pentas- and enemies were like "noob champ".. rofl.

Bronze is full of excuses...

I used to be gold, got placed into bronze for the first time this season after winning most of my promo's.

Not saying it's impossible or that calling champs op just because they beat you is warranted but Bronze does suck to be in and there are a lot of things out of your control. Especially when everyone and their mother were in bronze this season. I'd have gold borders on my team yet I was in bronze 3. Then other games I'd feel like I was playing against golds in bronze. The games that I actually felt like I was playing bronze players was a breeze.

It was really easy to me.. didn't lose too many games when I was climbin.

well maybe you just got lucky. I swear I had much easier games in gold than I did in bronze.

I find low gold pretty simple..higher gold low plat I struggle.

In some aspects it will be. In your Gold Games you have a certain realistic expectation of your Team Mates. Toss that right out the window in Bronze.

He could be new to the game, but one of those guys that will be Diamond in 2 months from now. He could be an Old Gold that got placed in Bronze with bad luck Provisionals. He could be a mouth breather.

You just never know.

And wildly inconsistent.

I've seen guys come in and make huge plays, and you're like "Sweet, this guy GETS it!"... just to never see him again the rest of the game. And you wonder... man... why didn't he keep doing what he was doing at the start, snowballing that thing??? It's because he doesn't know yet how to keep the pressure up, he's unsure. So instead of taking over, he fades.

Just like I've seen the crappiest players land the damn luckiest shots to completely swing a game... which is why I tend not to flame and try to keep my team from flaming. You never know when a kid will go from mouth breather to hero because he dropped his soda, mouse hit the ground, and he nails the Leona Ult that allows the Team Dive and Ace. Picks the Soda and Mouse up, looks at the screen... and his Team is heading for the Nexus and he has 5 new Assists. It's rare, but it happens.

Bronze is the wild freaking west, man.

Not to mention, if your MMR is low enough (and mine has been at one time) you'll get paired with others that have an MMR so low because they are (1) Trolls or (2) have toasters for modems. So as you improve, you get way more than your 'fair share' of AFK/Troll games, and if the coin doesn't flip in your favor more than most of those can go against you. That's the only true Elo Hell, and the catch is you have to put yourself there. Took me a year of improvement in Season 4 to stop having constant AFK/Trolls in my games... and I deserved it because I jumped my happy ass up to Ranked way before I was really ready. But I didn't cry about it... I did it to myself. You ONLY get that in Bronze.

In general, I agree with this. Not just Bronze, either.

Forssure, in general the lower the mmr the more excuses. Typically because they depend more on their teamates to generate a win. I know that sounds wrong to say in a 5v5 game, because to some degree u need them. But in bronze they make it seem like 1 persons mistake is the all cause of a loss and there is no room for any improvement if someone else on the team isn't doing so good

I try to correct that where ever I see it. Not because I'm some God at the game, but because I apply Logic and Reason to all things.

"I can't believe Yi just screwed that Gank up!"

Really? I mean, you having them pushed under Turret and pinging constantly that he should gank, DESPITE me seeing their Jungler in the Brush thanks to that Ward that you some how didn't see... that had NOTHING to do with it? And I'm down here in Bot Lane and saw the Enemy Jungle behind you in the Brush... how'd YOU miss that??? But sure, 'stupid Yi'.

Of course, he was stupid... for being goaded into such an obviously bad idea. But Pots shouldn't call Kettles black.

Fact is, we all screwed up if we lost. Some just more than others. No one plays a Perfect Game, we all share in the responsibility. Always something more we could have done to try to cover for the mistakes of others.

But we don't like taking responsibility for our own actions, so much easier just to blame others.

I try to counter that.

Exactly.

That happens a lot, actually I really enjoy when people say "noob champion" to me or my teammates. We will just kill them again and again......without a F****** word*[slayer-jinx-wink]*

I had a lot fun playing Lux this season. Especially before they nerfed her W. Played the champ for 3 seasons and hear nothing and then this season "noob champion" almost every game.

She's nothing but Skill Shots... the exact opposite of a Noob Champ. LOL!

she is very easy to play because of low cooldowns and skillshots that are very easy to hit. give lux to low level player = he'll get fed. now give him lee sin = he will feed.

Point and Click. That is an 'easy Champion'.

Can't really call a Champion with 4 Skill Shots 'easy'. Well, 4 if she ever wants a Team Mate to have a Shield. 3 if she only cares about Shielding herself.

But I agree, Lee Sin is much more difficult.

I've had exactly one Ranked game with Lee. I'll be damned, but the Enemy Team banned 3 Jungles and we banned 2... all my main Jungles were gone. Some one offered up Lee, because he is 'OP', and I said I was game to try it. People were cool with it, knowing I hadn't played it, so thankfully that saved me from being flamed.

Because I absolutely sucked. Was horrid.

But in an ironic ending I was Honored by all for the 'Play of the Game'. Their Jungle feasted on me all damn game, and ended up with like 32 Kills. They are at our Nexus, about to Win it... and I land that Super Kick onto him, right into the Fountain for the Shut Down.

No heroics here, they still pop the Nexus and we lose. But the fact that the now 1/18/7 Lee Sin just pulled off a Super Kick Kill on the 32/2/X Rengar was spectacular for all to see.

One of the only 2 Games I ever had where I seriously fed, was pretty much inept... yet was still able to save some satisfaction from the game (we won the other, where I was crushed as TF in Lane, but they just let me Split Push the Nexus down while trying to 5v4 mid. So while I sucked, you can leave an idiot alone all game and he'll eventually take your Nexus... I ended up with 8 Turrets, all 3 Inhibs and the Nexus taken down by myself, while they kept trying to break through my Team who never let down. Was glorious.).

Sometimes even the worst situations can lead to some fun experiences (and even a Win).

us "bronzies" tend not to think when playng the game that why they think champs that beat them are op but if they used half a brain they would realize that just by thinking b4 u act and picking a half decent team comp can and will counter most champs. I realized at some point last season that i was doing this also so this season i have been trying to actually think strategically in game and while i dont have a lot of time to play ranked i have climbed outta the bronze 5 wasteland into b2 and still going. I noticed i have been getting less feeders and trolls but it still happens sometimes.Used to blame others for lossees to but after watching a few to many guides lol, i learned to start looking at one's own mistakes cause there is always somethin that you could have done better.

there you go again vicar, climbing with premades, NOT by yourself. your ego is out of sync with your achievement.

I'm bronze, I don't think any Champ is truly OP. And every Champion requires ability to Master, though some are easier to learn than others.

Take Yi for example. Easy kit to learn, but if he was a 'no talent' or 'brain dead' Champion, we'd all be Cowsep. We are not all Cowsep. So to play the Champion at a truly effective level requires knowledge and ability.

Take a guy like SolWolf, constantly going Off-Meta and usually stomping with it at his Elo. Take those "Only Urgot" accounts that hit Diamond only playing Urgot, largely considered an undesirable Champion... but they've worked to be able to get the most out of him.

The problem generally isn't the Champion, but the player and a lack of understanding about the Champions and Situations involved.

Bronze won't learn and admit their mistakes -.- hard to duo with a bronze adc

Its pretty sickening to see a post like this. Im silver 4, havent really played ranked till I get close to a 100% win rate but alot of bronzes arent in there because they are garbage. Well, some of them. Its pretty safe to assume 90% of bronze have some severe stupidity complex.

I play with my gold and plat friends and I can win lane against other plats and golds and secure victory, WITHOUT being carried. Even in situations where I do not do well, I still maintain a position that my team can carry me, (going 3/4 and keeping my tower up, pushing objectives if my team loses lane, calling my lane)..

Back to being Jax, your team in some bronze games will be so pathetic, and just go 1/7, 1/13, 1/26, yesterday I had a graves who went from 7/0 to 7/25 and was less leveled than his support even though he never afked.

Bronzies see one lane do well and suddenly think they can just sit back relax, do what ever they want and you will magically carry them and some how manage to do everything on your own.

Bronzes go for "bronze walks", which are periods of time where objectives are available and safe to secure, but instead, they will go farm golems.

Yesterday I saw a bronze vayne start to fight gromp when the enemy wave was flat pushed against our inhibitor, (the enemy team was aced, and I was dead after forcibly killing 3 of them).

Bronze is basically filled with idiots, who are probably on drugs when they play the game and many times it is your teams stupidity
