Get rid of surrender timer
So many times I have been trolled within the first 5 minutes and it becomes clear there is no way to win the match I am playing. Why does RIOT not get rid of the arbitrary 20 minute rule for surrendering?

Don't get rid of surrender time, just get rid of surrender altogether...
dawngate EA Moba had surrender system were if someone dc at start of match after 5 to 10 mins it ask if you want to surrender and if your team is behind like 10 death were the enemy as none around 10 to 15 min it ask you would you like to surrender. it was pretty cool would love lol would use this.
I'd be very interested to see the game that becomes unwinnable 5 minutes into it.
You don't know how often people outscale/win late/wait it out and farm up do you, not to mention how much negativity this would cause in lower elos
I bet you've never done a comeback atleast not one to remember. Sad, lots of people give up when it goes 10-1 score. Im bronze so im not one to teach others but at at an elo as low as that teams that go 30-1 can throw. but i just dont like the fact people giving up 5 mins in and no matter what you cant lighten their mood or bring them back into the game. I dont wanna point fingers but mabye you should reconsider surrendering so early.[slayer-pantheon-thumbs]
I'm curious how this would go in Korea. Seems like alot of the time Koreans want to surrender and get to the next game if it's going poorly because they play in PC Bangs. Maybe Riot should test it there first. I'd be annoyed personally, cuz i've come back from huge deficits (tho at lower elo) but a game can always be won at any point if a team allows for it. I don't mind long games either...I play at home. I feel like people would be trying to surrender every 5 mins with this tho, that I can almost promise lol.
