Actual Darius Change

So, part of the reason why Darius does as much damage as he does, is his overwhelming AD steroid from Noxian Might, and his free armor penetration from his E. If you were to take these away, or tone them back, he'd do a great deal less damage, while still dealing big boy damage. If need be, swap his base damages/scalings around a bit too, and maybe give him back a bit of his attack speed while you're there. The heal is in a fine place at this point, especially now that his mana costs are higher.

I seem to be in a minority when I discuss who's OP and who's just over-rated with my friends and teams. Darius is easy to play around because his lack of mobility makes it hard to get the heal off consistently. They were right to nerf the % Armor Penetration before; it's in a fine state honestly. The Noxian Might trigger does seem strong, but is lack of mobility and complete inability to get ahold of some champions (like Ashe, Quinn, Vayne) make him a one-trick pony. It drives me crazy to see entire teams just sitting in the sweet spot of his heal, giving him massive healing boosts during fights. I just don't understand why standing a few pixels more to the outside/inside is so hard.

So is it safe to say that people will just forever hate Darius due to him being a champ with a "best case" scenario?

Yeah. It's a bit 'too easy' to trigger his passive. I am worried how they approach Darius because i enjoy playing him, however even while playing Darius I feel he needs some more fine tuning to be in a spot where we can consider him a 'healthy' champion. Unfortunately there is such a fine line between Darius being "OP" and being replaced by a better pick.

The thing is, I think he'd be fine if he didn't go from dunking for 600 to 1k just for hitting 5 stacks. Tone the AD back a bit and I think he'd be alright.

Darius is actually in a bad/alright spot since the patch he went down to an abysmal 45% winrate and with the width changes on the blade melee champions that are not Sion can sit on his face to dodge the damage/heal

But I just want people to shut up about him is all, which I don't think will happen.
