stop playing newly reworked assassins without experience on them?
oh my b, the thought of being 30 and playing something other than ranked confuses most players.
or ya know, farm better, you consistently miss half your total possible cs.

The placement games are really random. I just had one where I was playing mid against a Diamond 4 player. He was significantly better than me, managed to zone me a fair bit and had almost twice my cs. But I did not let him kill me once, and still won the game because my other lanes were doing well and, while I only contributed a little to winning, I did not let the enemy's strongest player get enough of a lead to allow them to carry their team.
Remember, if you die for a kill, you are not actually giving your team an advantage in terms of gold. It's neutral at best, and it puts your team at a disadvantage if you die and the enemy get a kill + assist.
