Client When accepting a match

When i que up for a ranked/normal game i would click accept but it would leave me on the main menu screen but i can still hear the music.because i am in the main menu screen i cant select a champion and it counts as a dodge,i have lost 2 ranked games and 1 normal game because of this and have had a penalty not allowing me to play for 5 mins and 30 after that
