Poppy rework Idea
While we are waiting for the Poppy rework™, I was thinking of ideas myself and thought of a kit that would be able to keep her old identity but being better suited into the game of today and I actually think this skill set would work.
Passive - Armor Master - Every time Poppy is hit by an basic attack from Champions or Large monsters she gains a Armor stack. At 5 Poppy will block the next basic attack or turret attack. Poppy slowly loses Armor stacks while out of combat. Q - Kneecapped - Poppy's next attack slows the target and dealing bonus damage W - Stand Tall - Poppy raises her shield in a direction for several seconds which can block a single spell. If Poppy successfully blocks a spell, she gains a huge speed boost. E - Heroic Charge - Poppy charges at a champion and carries them further dealing damage. If the target collides with terrain, her target will take increased damage and be stunned. R - Diplomatic immunity - Poppy challenges an enemy champion. While the challenge is issued Poppy and the chosen champion are the only ones able to deal damage or target each other.
So when I looked at her, I knew she had to keep the E and R skill as they make Poppy, but her current passive is way too unreliably good and that ult is rarely used as they intended. Giving her a "block all" shield as a passive would make her able to go toe to toe with the fighters top lane but leaving it as a decay thing would allow counter play. The W shield, while having an Ironic name, would give Poppy a chance vs her top lane opponents who use poke or true damage to shut her down, and she doesn't even use the shield currently. Lastly the q - Kneecapped, being small she'd be in range of someone's knees, and hitting it with a hammer would make sense if they'd go slightly slower.
