@riot , the new champ select further enforces the already stale meta

The chances of new metas evolving in ranked are now 0% thanks to the new champ select. No option to do two top or two mid. Maybe no jungle 3 bot with mid and top solo ? We will never know. If you go a lane outside your selected role you are sure to be flamed and reported.

Please go ahead and next patch and update the rules to say the following "Riot only permits 1 top tank, 1 mid ap, 2 bot (ad and support) and 1 jungle in ranked play. You mine as well do this because you are longer leaving us options. I'm seriously considering quitting now.

Mid.doesn't need to be ap and neither does top need to be a tank....

People don't go top because they are tanks mid because they are ap or bot because they are ranged. You go top to rely on farm and maybe gimp the opponent toplaner. You go mid for champions who are highly reliant on their abilities because midlane gets exp the fastest. You go bot lane with a support because you are looking to build expensive items fast and relatively safely, with a support to help keep you alive. that is the meta. It has been the meta. and until a huge change happens to items and champions that will remain the meta.

Teambuilder let you choose and set up a team of however you wanted it to be, it was up for...More than a year I think? Lo' and behold, nothing changed.
