Teemo Rework Idea

Not sure if this is meant for Gameplay or for Concepts and Creations, if someone else knows, please let me know.

We all know that Teemo is overpowered. Heck, we as a community regularly make jokes about Satan's Hamster, going so far as for Riot themselves making a devil skin for the dreaded salt demon. What I was thinking was: What if he were reworked, so that he was still fun and kept his core concepts, but also was balanced to where someone stands a decent chance against him?

First and foremost, I'm going to discuss his new story, as it will help to make his abilities make more sense.

Teemo always was a different Yordle. In Bandle City, while others of his kind were building huge machines or working with nature, he was planting mushrooms and developing new poisons. No one was surprised when he joined the Scouts, Bandle City's military, and graduated top of his class. But his teachers were concerned, as he was ruthless in battle, laughing as he filled his opponents with hundreds of darts and watching as they dropped to the ground with a sick grin stretching across his face. Knowing he was a strong fighter, the leaders of the city offered Teemo a special mission: he was to aid an ally in his efforts on cleansing the Shadow Isles, restoring the nature and making it a hospitable location for future Yordle colonization. Teemo accepted, eager to find out how his poisons affected the spirits, but shortly after his arrival, things went horribly wrong. The Black Fog consumed the little Yordle, turning something sick and twisted into something far worse. He now roams the isles, a specter, a demon, in search of new prey.

Now, his abilities. His passive would be slightly altered. Rather than stealth with an attack speed boost after moving/attacking, he would instead gain his poison upon breaking stealth, thereby incentivizing using his stealth more but making his poison more easy to manage. His poison would still of course scale with his AP, and repeated hits landed while the poison shots are active stack the poison up to a cap, causing it to deal more damage. The timer on the poison will not reset upon landing the hits, but the stacks will increase.

His Q would be a poison shot, dealing more physical damage than a standard basic attack and applying poison whether you were in stealth or not. The damage scales with your attack damage, and the poison, once again, scales with your AP.

His W would be replaced with Venom Rush. Passively it would function like a weaker version of Teemo's Dash, but it allows Teemo to phase through minions similarly to the summoner spell "Ghost". When activated, he can rush forward, dealing no damage but applying two stacks of poison on all champions he hits.

His E would be a poison cloud which affects Teemo and a nearby ally for as long as the button is held and as long as he has mana. The catch is those being affected will only have exactly one stack of the poison. If they have more, then they lose all except one. Less, and they lose all except one. The poison only lasts until they leave the cloud. As soon as they leave the cloud, they aren't affected by the poison but it can be reapplied by basic attacks. Extra levels increase the amount of stacks of damage and the radius of the cloud.

His R would be a slight alternative to his standard mushrooms. They work like his normal mushrooms but mixed with his new poison. In this case, each mine would apply a slow, and also applies 5 stacks of poison instantly.

With these changes, hopefully Teemo will be a more fun champion to play, as well as more fun to fight. If anyone else has ideas, feel free to post them. Any extra input is appreciated.

Saying that Teemo is op is straight stupid. he's a decent lane bully, he can splitpush but is easily outdueled, he can team fight but is not that effective and his ultimate is countered by hitting lvl 9 or spending 75 gold. I agree he needs a rework, but its because he is a champ with no skill shots, his w is pretty much useless, his r can be countered easily and he overall has a lack of gameplay options.

getting rid of teemo blind is a horrible idea. teemo is a pure counter pick. he is also a sitting duck becsuse cc. is his weakness, cock blocking on hit champs is his strength, he's fine where he is.
