Unfortunately, this time around, you need to have a phone to participate. They might change it in the future, but this is currently the only way to participate in Clash.

Why though? What is the importance of a phone?

Most people don't have more than one phone, so this way they have to commit to playing Clash on only one account. This means you can't smurf and throw off the match making, while also getting the rewards on youur main

That is one of the main reasons for needing at phone atm.

Sichem Is Ranked based on performance or just plain winning? Because my friend said he won 7 and got bronze 4, and I only won 3 and got silver 5.

If its a glitch please dont remove my silver I love it

IronSights if you mean placements, it's based purely on your Match Making Rating. It only goes up when you win, down when you lose, your performance in the match doesn't directly affeect your MMR

Sichem Never, but I did win decently last year in my provs, but never finished.

Never placed until now

IronSights Gotcha. So when you have never placed in ranked before, the baseline is Silver. After that your placements can push you up or down.

If you mentioned doing well in previous ranked games, you were probably pushing yourself upwards

so now this time around, even 3-7 would bring you to where you started.

That is something everyone has

IronSights I bet there are a few different ways, this is probably just the one that they think is best. Having more than one computer isn't really that crazy, and it's also possible to play at a friends place for eexample.

Computers ultimately cost more than phones

So whats the point of two phones, and whats the point of two computers UNLESS your like me and has a family that plays together

So that is 6 computers in this house all for different people. Back on the subject, I am confused.

For people to play clash they have to make a commitment and buy a phone, so not that different from just buying another and probably cheaper phone

Either way, you are making a commitment to this game.

Right now though, I can't force your account into the clash system. The only way to enter right now is to use your phone number for text verification.

Anyone feeling me? 200 to 600 dollars for a phone. To play Clash, to prevent smurfs. 200 to 600 to play Clash, basically, your buying Clash. For a lot of money. This chat went on for a bit more then ended, but that was unimportant stuff. Right now, we must focus on this problem. I have not written a post in ages now, and none of those got much feed back, so it would be nice to know if anyone else had this problem. Sorry for the very long post, but something needed to be said about these unordinary prices to play this free game, to play just a gamemode called Clash. Anyway, get attacked by an adorable Jinx. ... I spent literally 99.99 on an iphone 5S several years ago. This is the smartphone era. You should have a phone already - if not, save your money and do chores until you can afford a cheap, last-generation phone with a pay-as-you-go plan.

How old are you anyway? Are you below 16? If youre below 16 you shouldnt even be on the internet unsupervised.

You are seriously looking at the wrong phones.

I understand that not everyone has a phone or should have to get a phone just to play Clash. But I also understand the reason why they are using text verification.

But the $200 - $600 phones you are looking at are not necessary.

here is a phone you can get at wal mart and its less than $30. Its a prepaid phone......all you need it for is the text verification. Use whatever minutes you get up however you want after that.

Lol. I can pick up a phone+plan for $10+$10 if I wanted

Was wondering how many poor souls would be hit by this. :( sucks.

That said 200-600 for clash. As the rioter mentioned "that is a lot for the phones you're looking at". The reality is you can get them much cheaper. Both US and Canada is as mentioned 10 a month plus 10 for a phone US or 10/15 for CAD.

All of what you all are saying is proving my point ( Not all but thanks anyway), 1: phone verification is not strong enough. 2: People who are not allowed are going to be bummed. I will take the advice and maybe ask my parents, but I don't know if you can verify multiple times with one phone. Also nice to know people notice post like these and are willing to say something, helpful or not.

Plenty of people here get free cellphone provided by the system.

Though if you want to participate in clash, try the superior version and look for community events that give away free RP and skins. Less waiting times for lesser class tournaments as well.

Also if you'd like you can ask support if whether or not another player can enable you to use their cellphone. I don't can't play clash, but I also don't account share.
