The problem with Ranked players.

A lot of people in ranked have a huge problem, and that they play for a loss and have a negative attitude.

Lets say the first blood goes to the enemy. About 80% of the time, one to two people on your team will say "GG" or "Its over" About 60% of the time, someone starts flaming About 02% of the time, someone gives up completely and either goes AFK or Feeds.

Now when the enemy gets first dragon. About 70% of the time, someone will flame the jungler. About 40% of the time, the jungler will blame bot lane for no dragon ward. About 20% of the time, the jungler will rage and afk farm.

Enemy Steal Dragon. About 90% of the time, someone will flame the jungler for missing smite. About 70% of the time, someone will say "GG" or "Its over" About 40% of the time, the jungler will flame for the team not waiting for them. About 20% of the time, someone gives up.

Enemy gets Baron. About 90% of the time, someone will say "GG" or "Its over" About 60% of the time, someone will blame the jungler and support for no baron ward. About 20% of the time, someone will give up.

Enemy Steals Baron. About 90% of the time, someone will say "GG" or "Its over" and blame the jungler for missing smite. About 70% of the time, someone will give up About 05% of the time, someone will go afk.

This is what i have noticed. Now, I do have a pretty high win rate in ranked, even though I see this a lot in my games, why? Because I do everything I can to drag people out of it.

My last loss, I almost had my team out of the rut, but sometimes you cant do it alone. First blood went to the enemy and out Top, Mid and Jungle all said this is over. After a while of telling them to buck up and play to win, our mid laner (ahri) got back in to the groove and was killing the fed Kat. Top and Jungle were still in the rut, and our Jungler was in the feeding rut. After another 10 minutes our Top became neutral. Our jungler was still feeding for about 5 minutes then snapped out of it. We started to catch up, we got dragons, towers and baron.

Then someone died and boom, had to start all over again, but sadly at this point it was to late, our top was saying we are going to lose, our jungler stopped caring and went to afk farm, our mid started making horrible decisions like trying to 1v5. But i snapped her out of that as fast as I could. Our last fight, would have been a 5v4 in mid lane because the enemy top was dead, but because our jungle did not care any more, he did not go for the twitch in the back line like i had been telling him to, instead he told us he didn't care and well, that 4v4 turned in to a 2v4 then a 1v3. Our jungle did not return back to base until all our inhibitors were down.

But the during a lot of that game, I worked hard to raise their morale, told them where to push, pinged and warned of danger, and tried to keep tabs on the whole enemy team as much as i could. It almost won the game for us.

So moral of the story, the problem is not unskilled and boosted players, it is the negative attitudes and playing for a loss that is the problem.

Well toxicity is really prevalent in low elo regarding mistakes. Bronze is pretty bad, but silver is considerably worse.

I played most of last season in Gold and once I got to mid gold I think, I noticed way way lower toxicity among players.

Honestly, a lot of games can be won too. In Bronze-Gold players throw games all the time and comebacks are much easier to do. It appear that is tougher in Diamond or Plat where players will punish leads better, but you should absolutely play a lot of games through in low elo.

I have not made it to gold yet as i stop playing ranked once i hit silver, but i think i should this year so i can see the difference in them.

I have 2 smurfs that I climbed through low silver to gold before the end of last season and this account placed in Bronze I at the start of season 7.

I have played enough games in Silver to say it is really bad.

In general, after Gold V people are just nicer and just want to play. The people in lower gold are worried more about losing ranked games but the mid gold players want to win and have fun. A lot of them also recognize they probably aren't quite good enough to get to plat.
