garen, no matter what u fuckin do u can't bully him out of lane because of his W and his passive and his dorans shield if he gets gank he'll always be that champ that presses R and wins u can't dive him no matter how better u are he'll always survive laning phase and both outscale most champs in this game
same goes to voli and his op damage and passive while he builds full tank and deletes people

redniwediS1 votesGaren is a jack of all trades champion. He's tanky, has good late game sustain between fights, does a lot of damage, has good pushing power, and can take towers like a champ.
As a jack of all trades he is also a master of none. He can duel, but loses to many true duelists. He has decent wave clear and pushing power, but loses to true pushers. His sustain is all out of combat so sustain champs often beat him with no contest if he doesn't get an Executioner's Calling.
To put it simply if you want to beat Garen find something that Garen does well and pick a champion that does it better.
