i have met a premade group in rank twice in a row. LOL they are 5 men premade and all of us in the team are just soloq, nice. I remember once in a patch it said they have 98% chance to meet up with another premade group right? I feel this is pretty unfair.

Some day, the solo population will reach critical mass, all those kids with their cute 4-man premades telling solo players to stop whining, will start whining themselves as their queue times will reach infinity.

High53 votesTrue. Same thing has happened in a number of games when similar matchmaking systems were added. Groups drive people to play more consistently. People who play more spend more. Design decisions are then made based on higher margin players at the expense of everything else.
The business decision making process is basic economics that airlines have used for years. Look at WoW, same process too.
I loved LoL when it was pick up and play fun. Now, we're seeing the new corporate entity fingers reaching in the cookie pot.

Between the extraordinary behavioral requirements that discourage chat/interacting with other players, and the dismantling of any true representative ladders, the more dedicated, competitive, and immersive players are going to want something more rewarding to throw themselves into.

Playing solo is asking to be frustrated and disappointed, I had the same experience as you ~2 months ago..and it has been a mental scar on me ever since. I don't trust the match making system, and neither should you.
Now as people who only play solo stop doing so, the system only become _more _ biased against the remainder of solo population.

The fact of the matter is for a system to have balanced matchmaking for premades the queue times would have to be insanely high. This is why the higher you climb ranked the higher the queue time get naturally, so they put a limit just to shove people into a game regardless of balance.

Osaka 7785 votesThe more people leave because of dynamic queue, the longer the queue times are.... forcing the match making system to widen the MMR to reduce queue times, making games more unfair... making more people quit because they eventually realize that dynamic queue is a joke of a rank ladder system.

if you want to tryhard and competitive stuff, go somewhere else its to casual even for me, so I've started semi quitting too (playing 2 ranked games per month to keep placement this year)

No offense, but i hate this kind of attitude. If you are queueing for ranked, you are playing to win. Stop with this mentality of "just go out and have fun". No. This is ranked. If you just want to casually enjoy the game that's precisely what normals are for. But as soon as you click the "accept" button when a ranked queue pops, you had better be giving 100% of your effort to winning the game.
Also the fact that you need to play to "keep placement" makes me think that your plat. Congrats. But this excludes you from the real issue: it's freakin' hard to climb when you're virtually guaranteed to lose a percentage of your games to premades.
Serika Zero2 votessry, dynamic q is made for casual games and if you would check my profile (euw account), you would see that I've only played like 5 heroes. So, I try to win. But there's no way in hell I'm getting any "bad" fealings if we lose the game.
That doesn't mean "gg surrender@20" when the enemy got a kill but nothing in chat and whatever happens happens since I don't give a fuck anymore. Oh right, and I usually lose the early game in all games anyway

Klae2 votesI played against a 3-man premade consisting of a Bronze 4 and 2 Silver 3s... needless to say the Bronze 4 was definitely smurfing because he destroyed our midlaner and my team continued to feed. Personally I feel as if there is not a large gap between Silver 3 and Bronze 1, however, my team proved to be unable to play against it and got demolished. Dynamic Q sucks man.
