I just saved enough ip for a 3150 champions. I am wondering if I should buy: Rammus, Gragas, or Nidalee. I don't really care what role they play, but I would like someones opinion on whom i should buy!! UPDATE: GOT GRAGAS! GREAT JUNGLER!!

I guess it really depends on what kind of champion you like to play.

I would recommend either Rammus or Gragas. I've never played Nidalee but I don't find her play style very interesting.

Gragas and Rammus are "in your face" type champions and are both very strong at what they do.

i agree, either rammus or gragas. I would lean towards gragas because his kit is more versatile and he can do anything but adc, so you will get more value out of gragas. he can go full tank top, or rod of ages tanky fighter top, full ap mid, tank jungle, and yes he can be a really good support as well, which is where i like to play him.

When you land her spear or they step on her trap, Nid is very in your face. Followed by claws and usually death if you get the combo right. Different kind of "in your face" from what you meant but still. I think she's fun but very glass cannon.

Gragas, even if he's behind he still offers gallons of utility to his team.

Rammus is good, but rarely favorable. He's also pretty straightforward, with only so many creative plays.

Nidalee will always be good. Sometimes AD's better, but usually people prefer AP poke/assassin.

But I voted Gragas. He brings the most to the team of the three. Even when he's out of meta, Gragas is still a strong pick. He can be played in all positions except ADC too.

I'm going to sound like a total idiot here i'm sure, but this is just how i kinda look at buying new champs. I try to figure out what i'm going to learn from the playstyle of each if i'm looking into finding a new champ to play and love. (all very very good champs, by the way) For instance : if you play a lot of damaging mages, Gragas probably wont teach you a lot of things unless you want to play with how to land AOE's. Rammus could show you how to work with tanks if that's not something you're used to (and boy is he a great one) And then there's Nid. Some people hate her, some people love her - but if you want to learn a thing or two about ability control and button smashing, she's the best bet. Contrary to popular belief thanks to spear throwing, she taks a bit of skill. Idk if this book i just wrote you helped, and by no means do i mean that this is all any of those champs could potentially help you with. but hey. Whatever you wanna have fun with

Thanks! I've narrowed it down to Nidalee and Rammus as they fit my playstyle.

Nidalee would be a good pick if not for the fact that a large portion of the community complains until she is nerfed every time she becomes viable.

Gragas seems to be a fantastic choice right now. His base damage and his sustain allows him to Jungle well. And you can build him Either AP Bruiser or as a tank. And unlike most tank Junglers, his ult works both for engage, and disengage.

Gragas is in the best place right now, I'd say. Nidalee's a close second. Rammus isn't bad, but he's more limited by his kit's inherent power. SO if you're just looking for winrate, Gragas will probably get the most bang for your buck.

Nidalee probably has highest solo-carry potential, though, so if you're not a team player, I'd go with her.

Rammus is my favorite champ, so I'm also partial to him for his character theme and gameplay; he feels (in my opinion) much more unique than the other two.

Gragas. He is INCREDIBLY fun to play, has a good kit. Is actually considered meta now! Not much down sides.
