A more realistic message to lower elo people

Don't fall for the elo hell trap. Climbing ranks isn't about who has the better luck. Luck CAN play a part in the form of someone toxic that may start inting on purpose or goes afk because they are done with the game. This puts you at a disadvantage and can happen sometimes. But don't be one of those that uses it as an excuse where you are saying it happens to you 100% of the time.

And no, I'm not "ignorant to the low elo scene" I know what it's like to play in lower elo. I started sometime late s4 and placed bronze, finished silver( I was horrible at the game, didn't yet understand basic stuff). Of course I made it my goal to improve and set myself a rank goal. Now, I would say mentality is the most important part about staying consistent and climbing. If you're frustrated, it WILL affect your gameplay, that's when I started playing more casually and taking a break for the day if i lost 2 or 3 games.

Don't make excuses of some imaginary thing that is holding you back, elo hell is pretty much you keeping yourself stuck and blaming others for your misfortune. If i can end my seasons : Silver > plat > diamond> and currently hoping to go past d4, then you can do it too.

https://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=Tobi%20Only%20Sways here is my previous main account if you don't believe my journey, though sadly it doesn't include my season 4 rank at the top.

Note this acc is the one currently in d4.

It's all about luck what are you smoking. I was one game away from my gold promos for the first times then boom, huge lose streak. My almost promos game was the worst top laner in history who lost to a soraka top lane and says I'm not even trying and there comes a 3 game lose streak. Today alone I had 2 smurfs and 1 afk @5 minutes.

It is ALL about luck. Don't listen to this guy.

What are you smoking? Stop trying to feel special. I've had those kind of games where someone called open mid and afked because they died twice in lane. Or someone inting because they started arguing with another team mate so they wanted them to lose. And guess what? I accept those loses as being unlucky because they happen SOMETIMES.

Those were the reasons why I had to retry my promos, and guess what? I won them. Meanwhile you're basing your silver games on luck... where I could easily snowball and 1v5. You're part of the reason why there is so much misinformation and you're part of the reason it keeps people from improving and climbing.

Nobody should listen to you.

It's nothing about luck. You have to carry your way out of bronze.

It's all about luck. You have a 50/50 chance of getting a good team that you can carry and or will carry you. I recently got a brand and a rumble on my team who didn't know English. The brand picked up four Dorans rings and fed the fizz. The Rumble tried to counter jungle even though he was top and fed the Jax.

You can turn the results of like 1 in 10 games. If you're particularly above your level you can turn more. Its about volume and consistency.

Pretty sure you pretty much get win/lose streaks based on how Rito's matchmaking tries to even you at 50% winrate, so best advice would be play during ur winstreak and don't play during ur losing streak :P

I'm Gold, so I'm not really high ELO, but I can honestly say I think there's an "ELO Hell" of sorts. No, you're right, it won't trap you, but it might delay your promotion by about 10-15 games.

This is particularly true if you're only a little bit lower in rank than you belong. For example, if you play at a Silver I level and are in Silver II, it might be a little rougher for you than, say, carrying from Silver III to Silver II.
