The worst part about being a solo ranked player this season

....is how luck has become such a big factor in your ability to win the game. Every ranked game I've played this season has literally depended on whether my teammates are competent enough to either follow their lanes when they roam or pressure the map somehow to punish their roaming counterparts. It is ridiculous that when I'm trying my hardest to get a lead in my lane (bot lane) then I see their jungler and top lane camping my lane constantly to prevent me from building/pushing a lead then I look over to my teammates to see that they are not exerting the same pressure on the map. How is this fair? It should be an even playing field where all 10 players are capable of the same mechanics. Why is it that its been emphasized since the beginning of season 6 that teamwork is crucial yet there are still these players at this elo ( plat 2-dia 5) who for some reason do NOT play around the team?

This does not seem like something that would be new. Either you have the luck to have good teammates, or you have bad ones. Nothing about this season changed that.

blizzard dynamic queue at least has the decency to heavily limit the gap between players in ranked to 50pts each. basically within 1 division.

(a silver 2 player could only reach up to s1 or s3 for a player base and if there was a s3 player than a s1 player could not join the team, such that all subsequent players must also be s2 to s3)
