@Riot Any Changes Planned For Draven? (Underperforming)

I've been wondering this for a while as to whether or not Draven may be seeing some minor changes, some that may compare to what Sivir received. Pretty much Draven is a champ that wants high AD rather than just crit. (Crit is popular in the new season while AD was popular in the previous, additionally most ADCs use the new items better than Draven) This was stated for Sivir and caused Sivir to end up receiving a large change to make her a heavy user of crit now. I'm wondering if Draven could get a minor change to the way his axes work with crit. (Dear god, do not make it scale 1:1) I'm just saying that Draven could use a bit of help right now

TL;DR Can Draven get a little help?

Hey, friend, I've played quite a few Draven games this season and just to let you know, rushing a Bloodthirster in this meta is actually quite viable, as it allows you to win trades and overall outsustain just about anything the enemy can throw at you. Plus that shield's pretty nice if you get engaged on. Build him Bloodthirster-IE-PD-Mortal Reminder, and have fun :)

IMO, draven does need something. The dmg draven does doesnt really compete with the other adc's in his class. When you add in the fact that jinx can in fact out dps draven despite having more range available to her, then the case that Draven just cant compete with anyone in the class of immobile adc can become very strong because I would say that both twitch and ashe can out dps him as well.

I would say that people drastically overestimate his dmg. One "draven main" I talked to believes that the spinning axe dmg crits. It simply does not crit. Theres a perception gap I dont really understand. Ive heard that draven can 6 shot any tank in the game. How? The spinning axes add a maximum of 300 dmg. With 300 armor, thats equal to less than 100 dmg. Thats really nothing to write home about.

Continuing with perceptions vs reality: Before the kog rework, I would find myself standing still in a fight and giving 8 autos without needing to reposition, whereas even 1 auto with draven incites a reaction form the enemy. We can all agree that kog does more dmg tho right?

I think draven is flashier, and gets more attention, and projects a distorted image of his actual capabilities which are not that impressive in reality. Dont get me wrong. His passive is a bit absurd and he can carry a game with ease. Hes not like unusable or anything. But like the OP said, he is under-performing. ESPECIALLY when you consider that his passive is about snowballing, and we are in a snowball meta.

To add to Poe Bot:

BT worked last season as well, but I tended to get flammed for it on the boards so I thought I needed to work on my Draven. I think they were sort of wrong to flame me. If you arent confident in teammates to peel you and you cant be confient that 20% crit will actually trigger when you need it, then BT is your item.

I actually remember seeing sneeky play draven, buy IE first item after wavering over the BT for a second. He narrowly lost his next fight, 45 seconds after leaving the base, without a single crit strike. He would have lived and won and probably had a tower after if he had bought BT.

I also rush BT and Runaans on Ashe. Works better in some games than others. Is worth sometimes IMO, but you might want an early furor enchant on your boots, because you will need more time than you did before.
