Can we get some more mages in the jungle?

If we're putting more laners in the jungle, can we make more mages viable for the jungle? As much as I love getting friend requests so I can see the hate mail for taking Ryze up top, I would much rather Q-E-Q jungle camps and gank than play footsy with some Sona or Soraka while all the acton happens in mid and bot.

Pick a battle mage, any battle mage. They can do the jungle if you make slight changes to them to make it viable.

They inherently can't jungle because their early 1v1 is atrocious, making them food for meta jungles. Even off meta champions who are intended to be in the jungle aren't viable in Diamond+ because they just get dumpstered by the meta picks permanently invading.

Unless you're in low elo, in which case many of them they're already viable on account of being ranged and everyone being too bad/unaware to take advantage of them having no dueling ability.

i would like it alot if more mages became viable in the jungle too.

call me crazy but i like lissandra jungle. her E makes ganking feel good. she has lots of cc. she can hard engage teamfights. her jungle clear is just super slow early.

i never see liss played these days even in mid or top so it would be nice if they tried buffing her in the jungle so she could be viable in at least 1 role.

i hope they buff morgana jungle too.

1 concern i have though is it would make mid laners able to steal raptors really easily. if that really does become a problem riot could always make it so they only deal additional damage vs monsters as long as they have a jungle item.

Mages can never be viable in a role where 1v1 fights(invade) can be forced early, heck even midlane viability is hurting in soloq to the point where assassins are dominating the top picks if i am not mistaken.

A mage in the jungle is just a free meal to a invading assassin/fighter.

How about we don't make the most broken class viable in every lane :)

Viable mid, viable support, broken tier top against any melee champ. Sure let's make them good in the jungle.

Annie jungle is something that should have been a thing forever. She literally has a max range of 550 on all her spells. She has a movespeed buff on E. She has to preload stuns. She is perfect for the roam. Make it happen!

I'm not specifically against it, but at the same time, lanes have a preferred type of champion that goes there; blurring these lines would be a mistake I think, and they're already a bit hazy. Mages are generally off-role in the jungle, just like ranged adcs are off-role in mid or top.

Evelynn Ekko Gragas Taliyah Fiddlesticks Shyvana Nidalee Sylas Elise Karthus + Diana Mordekaiser being added next patch. I'd really like to see Sylas jungle buffed though. Also maybe Rumble jungle too, man literally has a skin for it.

Sometimes I'll go ryze jg for the meme and it's not completely horrible but I would love to see him as an actual pickable jungler :)

Zyra and brand jungle already work reliably. Morgana jungle can work but it is a little troll.

I’d love Syndra jungle seeing as she can pick up the monsters in jng and she’s just kinda MEH in mid. Could even give her a chance for a mini rework!

I VERY much agree not having really any good mages in the jungle makes it sort of difficult to make a proper team comp. Only AP junglers are all assassins.

Neeko has potential but I think it needs to be buffed a little bit Taliyah I think still can I'm not entirely sure if it's been nerfed or not havnt seen it in a while. Zyra is doable Sylas I think can still work Karthus is probably the best mage you can play in the jungle

The problem isnt that there are NO options for mage junglers the problem is that there are almost no good mage junglers
