Let’s imagine Jax found the lost Darkin weapon, Laamp, and despite probably knowing the dangers, he has to pick it up and use it. How do you think Jax and the darkin weapon would get along, if at all?
Personally, I imagine the darkin weapon would be impressed as hell with Jax’s skill, and if Jax got tired of the Darkin spirit, he would just ring it out of the weapon like water from a wet washcloth.
What do you think would happen?

Similarly, i'm still miffed about Varus not being renamed Vaarus. Y'all might wanna poll that to the playerbase at some point, see if they want all Darkin to go with the double-A thing.

DerMangoJoghurt5 votesPicking up a Darkin weapon appears to be a battle of will, as demonstrated by Kai and Valmar. And there's the problem.
We know very little about Jax' mental state. He's been around since Icathia, but what has he been doing all the time? How much of the proud warrior is still in him? Is he just a broken shell of his former self, seeking a challenge to remind himself of the days that are long gone? Or is he training, preparing, for something big, like reclaiming Icathia? Or maybe he's just loafing around and tries to find some entertainment.
We just don't know.
If there is something that keeps him going, a reason why he has to live, I think he would be able to resist the Darkin corruption. If there isn't, it's probably still a struggle, but one that he is likely to lose.

If you want the tl;dr: Kai and Valmar are a human couple currently occupying the same body as Varus. Each of them alone would not be able to resist the corrupting influence from Varus, but both of them together are able to persist and even take control over the body for short instances. Varus is currently searching for the other Darkin, while Kai and Valmar try to find a way to separate themselves from Varus.

Bright Claws2 votesI have some theories. But they could just be silly. If he picked them up they would some how be lifted by pure strength and be held in his hand. Another theory of mine is that if he were to pick it up the weapon would defy gravity by being swung around, in his grip, of course.
But honestly, if we're being real, I think if he were to pick it up with all lore aside he would most definitely use it as a weapon. I know. Its crazy. Totally not something that wold normally happen.
