Possible solution to Duo and Solo Morde

So far I've been really enjoying this ADC Morde. Like the other juggernauts his early is terrible but late game he's the carry. I even saw a guy after losing lane just build nothing but ruby crystals and still out tanked all of our damage while still bulldozing through us. The only person who was able to stop him was our Darius but he'd just get focused by the enemy team and have to ult their carries first.

Anyway, when these reworks were coming out a put up a thread asking Riot to not change Morde from his anti-assassin solo lane guy. Kind of a kick to the balls I know and that's just what it feels like. I have played Morde ADC and I love it but seeing that mid Morde get shutdown so hard made my heart crack slightly. Knowing that I'd never be able to just MACE-TO-FACE a Fizz anymore put alot of fear into my mind. Who is going to stop these champions now? IMO Morde was the on;y one who wasn't scared of any assassin. now he's the direct target of every assassin. Very counter intuitive if you as me. So it hit me, why can't we have both the Duo and Solo Morde?

Possible Solution

Give Morde a Rune that allows him to choose how his abilities will play out for that match. One Rune reverts him to solo Morde and the other turns him into ADC Morde.

They could be named Reaper Vanguard (solo lane rune) and the other Undead King (ADC Rune). One notes his obvious, walk up MACE-TO_FACE style while the other supports his dragon soul stealing style. The obvious instant argument is,

"He's viable everywhere!"

Well, alot of champions are and the difference between Morde and them his, he has no CC or movement abilities. If anyone should be viable anywhere it's the one who has the weakness everywhere. No CC/movement is punishable at all times in a game. Even to the point of where Morde's might prioritize Ghost and Flash to stick to their targets.

Not really much else to say. I haven't tried out his new solo laning yet but I've seen others get sadly crushed in it. BUT, there is hope for Duo top, Mid and Jungle Morde because the passive on his W makes it so the allies he's nearby give him FULL EXP! This is META changing people. Take the ADC out of bot lane, put them in the jungle and have the lanes be Tank, Fighter, Mage and it's GG against the modern comp. Or just have a standard jungler since they can actually gank and just have full control of both jungles or do super ganks 24/7.

It almost rewards support Morde even more for going to other lanes. Just saying, that new passive is OP.
