Random is Random.

Just because you got something once doesn't mean that you will never get the next time around.

That is like saying just because the first flip of a coin was heads means the next flip will always be tails.

Yes getting the same champ 2 times in a row is rare, but it is not 0%, and as long as it is not 0%, it can happen.

Getting 2 times heads in a row and getting one time head and one time tail have the same propability

You act like you've never rolled a dice before. You don't get a 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 before you're allowed to roll one of those numbers again. You can roll numbers back to back or skip numbers all together, it's just the luck of the draw.

Similarly, the Champion you get is just a random number pulled out of a hat. You're not allowed to draw a teammates champion, but other than that it maps out just the same as rolling dice.

I got Bard 5 times in a row once. 2 of those games someone dodged and then I got Bard anyways.

Random has a funny way of working. Everyone thinks it should be: 4,2,1,5,3 but it ends up being: 4,4,4,4,4

It's not that the odds aren't phenomenally low that it will happen, it's just that systems that try to replicate true random have a habit of hitting repeat cycles.

Mastery on a champ and certain champs appears to also have a higher rate of chance, so hitting Lissandra even once boosts her potential rate for at least a certain period after that (or potentially permanently afterward). There's probably another factor that plays into the odds that I'm not seeing since I've never seen certain champs in the mode, but of those, primarily they're ones I have zero mastery on. (I own all the champs.)

Completely depends on how many champions you own (since I think ARAM only pulls from owned champions?) If it doesn't, the chances of getting the same champion twice are about 0.00533%. Sucks to suck.

Got get yourself a lottery draw now OP. You might win the jackpot twice in a row with this luck.

Or you would get nothing twice in a row.

But hey, it's worth a try.
