Top laners for beginners and tips for top laning
Can someone suggest any top laners for me as a beginner other than Garen. Also tips for playing top would be appreciated thank you

They both have similar builds, playstyles, and powerspikes
are decent for focusing on cs, lane control, and macro play.
are good if you want to learn tanks that have good team fight impact.
(He has some bad matchups and you have to avoid greeding, but he quickly outscales in lane)

Learn wave control: Watch your replays. Every time you back or roam, move the camera up to your lane and count how many minions you missed and think of how you could have minimized that number. When your opponent backs, roams, or dies, count how many minions they miss and think about how to maximize that number.
