The description says "An explosion follows Death Ray's wake" but doesn't say how long after the death ray until the explosion starts. I'm curious if anyone knows the delay time. I'd mostly curious to know if it's longer or shorter than 0.5 seconds. That is, if one has Rylai's Crystal Scepter, is the total slow duration longer or shorter than a single target ability?
Well,
First, there is an initial delay between when the laser fires and when the first explosion follows.
Then, there is the delay in between explosions.
The delay in explosions, let's call this the "projectile speed" of the explosions, is faster than the laser itself.
At the end of the laser's range, the explosion and the laser hits almost simultaneously.
At the beginning of the laser's range, the explosion and the laser hits at their greatest interval of delay. However, the delay is still smaller than 0.5 seconds, and you will never get a slow longer that 1.5 seconds using Death Ray in conjunction with
