Hey, guys. I was watching a guide on ADC Caitlyn and just happened to stumble upon this one. It actually seems pretty smart. Those traps can get super annoying, and scale off AP. Her caliber net is basically a nuke that slows or re-positions Cait. Also, it seems like she builds frostfang for dat poke gold. Any thoughts?

it's not even remotely reliable enough for ranked unless you're like gold 1+ vs bronze 5 but I wouldn't dismiss it out of hand for normals
Yeah. It's totally not meant for high elo, but it sure can catch people by surprise. It certainly looks like more of a fun thing to do. There's another video on that channel where AP Maokai and AP Cait team up and kill people in one second with thier traps. It's hilarious. I wanna try this with Teemo.
Someone mentioned AP Caitlyn for support before. I think I'll try it in Normals after I get back home. I still have my doubts since I don't think her damage would be good. AA wise.
There are enough items with AP Ratios themselves that this could theoretically work. I'm almost thinking Frost Queen into Gunblade. Odd, I know, but Gunblade has range, AP scaling damage, and a slow. Perfect for AP Cait.

Support Ashe is better at basically the same stuff; vision, poke, utility, hard CC. I wouldn't care as long as I knew they weren't trolling or trying it first time.
considering I've done this some what, not full ap but slight hybrid is good so your aa's still have ok poke
I honestly don't understand why people just pick champions that are obviously atrocious at being supports and want to somehow try to (note, not succeed) make it work

Fun concept though. I've played around with this a while back, but this would be even stronger now with Luden's Echo.
Well,all she can do is disengage with her traps and net, dealing high busrt and only keeping herself safe,so support wise i'd say no,seems more like mid to me
does that means she need full 40% CD or even trinity force to be useful?
A lot of why this worked is the surprise factor. They didn't watch out for the traps because nobody expects them to actually hurt. If this ever got popular it wouldn't work anymore.

I have heard that back when Atma's impaler was a thing, offtank toplane cait was a nightmare.
Hell wouldn't be suprised if this works.
My mate plays AP Cait mid, he's yet to feed a game. The traps and the Net do a surprising amount of damage, but i'd still dodge a game from one.
