This season I've been getting an absurd amount of AFKs. I've lost quite a few promos due to it and it's starting to get a little frustrating. Anyone else having problems with this? Are there any plans to deal with this? My personal solution would be to give teams with AFKs loss prevented to begin with, but that might be asking for too much. Just curious on everyone's input and experience with this.
I've had one or two people leave from 4 of my last 5 games... So no, your not alone. :P
Yeah, every single one of my recent games had an afk (Sometimes it was temp, in others it was perma) including ARAM.
its because people say that if loss prevention happened that would be abused...
their right and wrong, right in the sense that sure they could abused it because people rarely (if ever) get punished for afking
wrong because if they actually punished afks most of this wouldnt happen, plus they could just make something where they see hey, all this guys losses are with a duo que and the duo always leaves....solution is you ban both, chances of all different duo ques leaving X amount of games is more than fishy coupled with the fact they are duo que'd
its not hard but riot just doesnt want to do it =/
i mean what would series games look like without afks, we cant have that lol
(this coming from someone who made it to series, got 3 afks ina row, an intentional feeder...slept, woke up and played 6 games and got 3 afks and 2 intentional feeders.....bout done with ranked)
by intentional feeders i dont mean they sucked and kept dying, i mean they ran into 5 people or under turret and just died 10+ times
but o well, dont wanna say if we had actual punishments these types of things wouldnt happen even 5% of the time but i guess ill just deal with it happening every other game and every game when i hit series
