Malzahar Void Swarm (W) !

Cooldown increased to 30/28/26/24/22 from 20/19/18/17/16

Spawn changed:

[NEW] "Every 4 Jhin seconds and whenever a Voidling assists in killing a unit, Malzahar spawns a new Voidling with the same remaining duration.

[OLD] "The first time a Voidling attacks a champion or monster, or assists in killing a unit, Malzahar spawns a new Voidling with the same remaining duration."

Aren't you guys taking the whole "damage over time" thing a bit too far?

Edit 1: After a minute of thought... Doesn't this change pretty much screw over people that want to play jungle Malzahar? Y'know since you also removed Voidlings spawning upon hitting monsters as well as champions. Specially since Voidlings are weak on their own. And since they only get the bonus frenzy when there are three of them and they last only 12 seconds, how can you use that against a camp and be able to carry it over to another camp?

Edit 2: Won't this also default AD Malzahar to a farm lane? 12 seconds won't be enough time for the Voidlings to multiply on the minions and then attack the enemy laner. If E even bounces to them even...

This change as it stands effectively deletes malz from the game.

Jungle Malz no longer works in any capacity. Lane Malz, which was already extremely weak vs the meta mages, will be unplayable and he'll do EVEN LESS damage than he does now (currently his E has trouble clearing minions on it's own even if you have 8k AP). But it's ok cause now every melee champ in the game now has some counterplay vs malz, cause nobody will ever pick this champ again and what better counterplay is there really.

This doesn't even acknowledge the fact that the lowest you can get his W down to with the changes would be 12.1 seconds.

This is what i've said since the rework. The W is completely fucking broken, but the rest of his kit is so incredibly weak, that any attempt to nerf his W to a reasonable level will completely destroy the champion.

This is two fold however, because not only is the rest of his kit just weak, half of their power value is in interacting with his W. Even the refresh on E could be said to be more about extending the actual time W targets the enemy than the actual damage refresh. So in nerfing W, not only are you nerfing his primary source of power, you're also nerfing the rest of his kit.

It's a terrible fucking design linking a significant portion of the power of every ability to another ability, even more so when they are all linked directly or indirectly to a central ability.

This sucks. He's my main... I'm getting really tired of them screwing around with my main. At least give us a bit more time to actually see malzahar in use? this is bad.
