Just like people say Kassadin = kassawin, lee sin = free win, warwick= winwick, twisted fate= twisted fail etc... the name for jayce should be "OP Jayce". Why? Because he is too powerful as range/melee hybrid... he has op poke, op damage in melee. too powerful on both fields and offers no counterplay + he has CC. Don't know why would anyone cry about nidalee when there is OP Jayce with mobility, CC, op damage, op poke
Malhammers3 votesNo. Just stop. He is extremely underwhelming at the moment and has SEVERE mana issues. Sure he has a nuke that hurts, but in order to use it to its full effect you have to use 2 spells each time which take up like 1/3 of your mana every time you use the barrier + nuke. And his nuke doesn't scale well with the mana-builds you are forced to use....so he doesn't work at the moment. There are no items that fit him perfectly and no build that compliments him the way they do with other champs.

And like what others have said on this post, he has a weak early game, with lasting mana issues. The only time Jayce is actually a solid pick is when snowballing, which when snowballing, most champions are considered good.

And jayve isn't a ranged melee hybrid. He,s a oneshot nuker.
Unless its to lunge in with a QE to finish someone off, or some weak disengage, you don't want to melee with him against any other melee champ, he will likely lose.
He has no good builds for melee fighting, and is too squishy to fight anyo e like that.
