Why does Lucian and Thresh deserve to be in almost every game

Funny thing I keep seeing people saying "but thresh and lucian are skilled champions". Like what is those skills in the first place.

Thresh just runs over anyone with aftershock and Lucian is pretty much Darius without tankiness, but with dashes. A crap ton of dashes and damage.

Both are around 30% pick rate and 51%+ win rate. Like damn. How are these champions not strong when 3/10 of players pick them. Others are considered Op at 10% pick rate and these guys have 3 times over and a high win rate, even higher than it would have been normal at that pick rate.

I never liked Thresh.

A forced to be ranged tank with long CC.

Yet no-one has the balls to support full AP, as it's actually quite better to do.

Lucian: Because Crit item sucks

Thresh: Because he's the fan-favorite. No seriously he's not broken it's just he's the first guy you think of when you think of support. It's kind of like Zed. His playrate right now isn't bad but he's a trash champion and people still pick him because they just want to play him even in ranked. I'd say supports like Zyra are a lot more cancerous than Thresh.

Mind you thresh has been top tier popularity since he was introduced and never really lost popularity even though the item 3504 days.

In fact, the whole fucking support role has been changed to make it more similar to the thresh play style over the years and it's driven many support players out of the role over the years.

Why do you think that players should stop playing what they like because you don't want to see them?

Because they are fun and strong.
