I remember some years ago back then in season 1,he was a really good champ. But now... The fling damage is pretty small. The condition for root is really difficult to complete. No tenacity in his ult anymore. He's very item dependent too.

His root is a joke too. I think it's the hardest mechanic in the game. Even 10 second root wont help him if he cant perform the perfect fling-mega adhesive combo

Strawberrycocoa1 votesHe might mean early game. Riven will tear Singed apart like wet tissue paper until he builds sufficient AP Armor and Health. But once he has enough core stats, Singed won't have any worries about dealing with Riven.
Lynxonyx1 votesAt level 6 with her ult, riven can tower dive you at half hp, and kill you from full hp before the tower even hits her a second time. This has happened to me numerous times. It isn't until about lvl 15 that he can really stand up to her provided he hasn't been fed by that point... but still, you can't catch up to her.

Actually, if it was 10 seconds, that would be all I would do. Really, it should be like MORGANA level root for how much it takes to get it off. THEN it would be worth it. Right now its just not worth doing.

It's not even that hard to pull off. You throw your W on them as you chase, once they clear it you should have had time to catch up and then you can flip them onto it from there.

Yeah, it requires you to get into melee range unlike a point-and-click maokai W or morgana Q

Lynxonyx1 votesMy thoughts on the Adhesive is to make it snare for a short time w/o the toss, and then have its normal slow effect. Similar to how Cho gets a knock up, then a slow with his ability.
The Chuckler1 votesThey could fix the root by shortening the cast time on Mega-Adhesive. If they shorten it to allow the adhesive to land mid-fling, that would solve the snare issue.

he's been sitting just above 50% win rate in ranked plat+ and I've mained him for the past 3 seasons got to d3 last season with him and now I'm sitting at d4 with 90% of my ranked games playing 
. He has a very unique kit that takes some time to get used to. If you pick him up and don't know what you're doing, you'll get wrecked.

The Adhesive at max level should be really, really strong in a support role, but this is just my own theory, as I was thinking of making a "support singed" rune/mastery page yesterday.
