Dunno what it is about this guy's W shield, but it really hurts yasuo if he engages, his taunt when yasuo has his wind passive up can cause him to use it and not follow up with his ult, the passive increases damage with armor build which also hurts yasuo.
Did random testing, had friends test it in casual and ranked. Total of 35 testings.

you're considering that scenario as a sand box, try what I mentioned the match-up will be a lot easier.
Stephenizgod1 votesOk, I understand that. The original point was not "rammus' taunt is a counter to Yasuo" it was "point and click CC counters Yasuo". My point was that all champions have, for the most part, the same weakness to point and click CC as Yasuo but he actually has the ability to negate most ranged CC's. There are a few point and click CC's he can't block, but thats why I didn't say he could deal with ALL CC's, just Ranged.

. Long AA range to take down shield, wait out his windwall, bam Tibbers unloaded on him and dead. Or if she's banned I go for Diana as she can outduel him and has survivability with her shield.
Dryditch4 votesVolibear is the ultimate yasuo counter. Actually, just one item helps against a lot of the bullshit you might expect from him--
With a consistent AOE damage being applied, Yasuo's flow shield is useless against you, so your trades are that much easier. Voli has a tool in his kit that also very effectively punishes Yasuo for engaging in the middle of an even minion wave--his E. Fearing the minions removes the threat of Yasuo's minion wave while allowing yours to punish him for coming into melee range against you.
Additionally, that W makes it easier to shut down his lifesteal (if running warlords) by stacking it 3x on minions, going in for a short skirmish, and then biting him before walking away and fearing minions. After a few rounds of this, he'll either be forced out of lane or dead.

Project omen2 votesIf we're talking about a senario of Yasuo being in a team that has ap (like a Cho'Gath top or fiddlesticks jungle or w/e), Rammus would have to buy a magic resist item and 
. If Yasuo gets botrk and duels him, he'll win with his ult, his lifesteal and warlord's bloodlust, which is very common on him. Not to mention him buying resistances or 
which gives mr, more lifesteal and qss (I buy it a lot on Yasuo).
If Yasuo's team is full ad, then yes it's an easy win for Rammus.
Also Rammus is a pain in the ass for Yasuo in the early game, especially if his enemy laner and the jungler are premades.

It has happened to me many times, everytime I put my W on a minion he just dashes through it and through other minions, so my w became almost useless. Morde needs minions to activate his w to its full potential and yasuo can abuse that and use this to his advantage.
Also, after Yasuo has his 2 items 
Mercs and Hexdrinker, he can 1v1 Morde very easily, since he scales better than Morde imo.
But you're right, if you know what you're doing, and abuse every mistake Yasuo makes you sh't on him
Existential Bard2 votesMalzahar is a really good counter to yasuo. Voidlings pop yasuo passive shield. Voidlings aren't stopped by his windwall. When yasuo hits 6 and has his cyclone prepped for ultimate, you just ult him before he used it and then he is screwed.

SaIt Bae1 votesI'm going to stay on topic, regarding Rammus vs Yasuo this is not a matchup in anyone's favor, I don't believe Rammus hard counters him. You may want to run Grasp of the undying in this particular matchup over Fervor, get tanky items first instead of crit/AS like Bami, after first tanky item I would go PD then go more tank or damage based on the game. It's all about not rushing the usual AS/crit build early on Yasuo since it's an all in, you get stuck so you need to sustain.
