Mid Lane Champions

Hey, I was wonder why aren't Syndra Viktor played often?

Theyre both incredibly strong IMO, but they lack mobility. They both can 100-0 most people quite easily. I get that theyre medium range, and immobile, but I feel like their damage makes up for it?

This is just me wondering why they aren't played that often (whether its in high elo, or competitive). Im a huge syndra fan, so jw.

Why play one of those when you can go Ahri Leblanc or Lux and have more damage and safety?

That's basically the question. I believe you should be able to play any champ and win if u do good with it

I mean if theyre all grouped you can get some nice plays with syndra and viktor, but your point is correct and I agree. Why play blank when you can play someone better. I guess its all about whos better (best?), and how you need to play the best for the most part.

Viktor is very popular in pro play. Syndra was, as well. Both got nerfed repeatedly because of it. They'll probably be more popular post-mage update, I think they're both getting at least minor changes

I see.

they lack mobility.

There you go, you answered your own question. Aside from that, they are not bad champions and Viktor does see a bit of competitive play. Not too sure about Syndra, but Viktor is not bad by any means, just a bit risky

So its all about mobility? I myself, main Ahri for mid lane, so I understand mobility, but if you position correctly and have front line while you chill back line with these champions, theyre still good? Is mobility really that good, would you say? I feel like riot should trade off mobility for damage, but then you have champions like Leblanc who are extremely mobile and crazy damage.
