Option to turn off skins.

Their should be a client sided option to disable all skins when in-game. I find some skins to be hard on my eyes/difficult to play against, and would rather just see the default skin.

Let me know what you guys think

Excellent suggestion. Would also help against skins that have ability effects that are harder to notice and therefor harder to dodge.

steel legion lux, justicar syndra, and the twisted fate one they recently fixed this patch (Underworld Twisted Fate).

Those are just 3 that come to mind instantly.

I've never had a problem with any of the skins (besides laughing my ass off at skins like Lil' Slugger Trundle), so I don't really have room to talk. :P

Could just be me and my eyes. Personal thing maybe? Dont think so, cause i talked about it with some of my friends and they agree some skins are harder to see the effects.

No reason for the Syndra skin, the orbs are a bright yellow on a dull green most of the time. Better to iterate further of what exactly it is so hard to see and let Riot know, the other skins are definite problems however.

I think the point of the skin is for others to see. I mean, if it wasn't, people would just always use custom skin files. But people buy them anyway, because they want to wreck people as recon teemo.

Did you try it with low gfx settings? Textures look different then. If you don't want to, consider using custom skins yourself and replace every skin with the default one or something.

Hmm. I play on the low settings, for pretty much everything, otherwise id be -60 fps.

Impossible to implement, Riot needs to fix certain skins though like Steel Legion Lux and iBlitzcrank for example creates too much of an advantage for the user of skins like these

Personally this is a great idea, it could help some people really focus on the game and not have to worry or be distracted by skins. Although in normals, someone like Infernal Nasus could be playing the stereo and wanting you to just chill and dance and you kill them and get reported to bm. Also this is not impossible to implement, just look at custom skins ffs.
