Champion Rotation Changed Early?

The new champion rotation is already here..... A day earlier than usual, and before Surrender@20, or even League's own news page, even announced it. Is this intended, or is it a mistake? Update: The new champion rotation has now been posted to the news page, apparently 49 minutes or so ago, even though the champ rotation changes a number of hours ago. Better late than never though, I suppose.

Free Week sometimes get moved if there is an upcoming holiday. Im not from the US so Im not aware of any public holidays this week but this is the general reason as to why the new rotation ships early.
