Bronze 5 Is Uncarriable

TSA unityinstall··1 votes·2,543 views

Hello Summoners, I realize that I am still a bronze 5 scrub, but I believe that bronze 5 is really hard to get out. Last season when I was playing with silver's, I thought the game was much easier to win, and that the people could potentially fight back in the odds. In Bronze I feel like that every time I want to push it is impossible, because I am the one that wants to push. My teammates wont follow me. I also think that even if I roam, and help push, I may get a early start, but later our team just throws really hard, and we lose the game. I go positive kda usually, but even when I do get lots of kills, and I try to get more objectives. The bronze games are simply unwinnable.

Thank You, Unitydownload

Bronze 5 is actually the easiest elo to carry in. You just have to keep in mind that your opponents are also Bronze 5.

It is true, that they really are easy to play. But when you do play with them, it is really hard to guide them in the right direction. For example after the 30 min mark, I always try to ward baron, but when I cant i tell my team to, but they never. This leads to enemy baron, and gg. Once we ace the team, I tell the team to push, but the team would just farm. It is just really frustrating to play. If you look at my op.gg, it usually results me in to having to kill the enemies as many times as possible. When I am thresh, I also feel that the engages that I provide are also not enough. :(

The team with the most powerful cc wins Champs that can get you out of bronze: Amumu Annie Blitzcrank Brand Braum JarvanIV Kayle Leona Lissandra Malzahar Nautilus Nunu Rammus Sejuani Shen Sion Skarner Vi Volibear Warwick MonkeyKing Zac Zyra

AND MANY MORE If the champ doesn't require much effort to play, it will get you out of bronze. Bronze logic is to always all-in, always push mid, and always focus the ADC/APC; get someone that has a stun and your team is most likely going to win.

I would like to ask you, isnt the champion with your greatest mastery easiest to carry with? I play lots of ahri, and that I am great with her. I can carry, but I just cant 1 v 5 and close the game. That is what I am really pissed about.

Out of the champs you've mastered/want to master, pick the one with the most CC?

She doesn't have the tower push. I made the mistake of playing LeBlanc on my friends bronze account when I was trying to climb a bit for him and i realized that carrying was easy, but if your team is unorganized and you need to push a tower yourself, she can't do it. Honestly just jungle Vi lol.

i kinda agree with you, you need a champ that can both carry teamfights and take objectives.

You mentioned that I should play yasuo, but the thing about ad assasin's in this meta is that they are really weak. I like ahri because she is a kiting mage with escapes. Yasuo has no escapes and based on my experience bronze junglers camp my lane. Current strong meta mid laners such as annie, or leblanc or ekko would definitely outclass me in lane and not let me trasit to the late game. I also play zed. The thing with zed is that late game he has so many counters. QSS and Zhonyas. When I go zed mid lane, I also find that he has a weak teamfight presence. Ahri has escapes, has damage can re-engage. That is why I like her. AD Assasin's are relatively weak in this meta, and thus I dont find it viable.

If I play thresh, then I think that it is a 50 50 chance, in winning. This is mainly due to vayne's in bronze being really hard to babysit. Also due to how is the enemy sups. I hate leona and blitz in lane. They are really toxic and can transit really easily. I also hate tristana and ashe in this meta due to their op. Ashe is way too op and many bronzies play it. While tristana rocket jump is honestly just toxic, and that helps her transit to the late game.

I just feel that the mastery of my champs is not enough to win the game anymore. Tanks simply take in my damage. Assasin's out class me in lane. Support engages harder. ADC having reliable escapes and damage.

Play a hard carry in any role

I play thresh, a hard carry in support, yet it is still really hard to get out of bronze.

lol. See the thing about thresh is it requires you to land hooks and adapt your gameplay. Also falls off hard against CC heavy team comps, which most bronze players will play.

You have some good games as Ahri but the fact that you still lose even with a high KDA might be due to you dying at inopportune times and not pushing advantages hard.

Also your cs is bronze 5 caliber. Work on last hitting minions. You average 2-3 cs per minute. Aim for 6+ cs per minute.

TSA unityinstall1 votes

Basically, thresh is a horrible support in low elo. BTW I do land hooks, but it is just that I feel that regardless on the hooks I make, esp. in tank meta, it is really hard to change a team fight.

So basically you contradict yourself. If thresh is a hard carry support as you say he is then you should have no problem carrying ^^

TSA unityinstall1 votes

In my definition of a hard carry, is one that can carry the games within their own potential. Thresh by all means, is one of the best supports to support his team, but I feel the meta is restricting his abilities, compared to the meta of those of assasins.

we are not in the same bronze. in my bronze, people like to play assassins

If you come across at least one other person that is in your same bracket, maybe duo with him/her that may help you climb a bit easier or play a strong early game champion an just dominate an snowball the entire game which will either make the enemy surrender or split push a win.

TSA unityinstall1 votes

alright, but I want to ask from your experience is it hard to get out of bronze 5.

Shogunai2 votes

Honestly, I've never been in bronze 5 so I'm not sure if its hard or not. I'm current stuck at Bronze 1, Ive been demoted about 5 times now, however I been basically trying to climb as a support. I realize no matter how much I love that role, I can't depend on others to follow up on opportunities to win games. So my solution is relearning other roles an champions to carry myself out of bronze an eventually to high elo. So in my experience Bronze has been difficult as a support main trying to climb but now that I've turned to an alternative, I don't suspect it being too difficult.

TSA unityinstall1 votes

Based on my experience as a support, even if you do have an amazing adc, you still cant win the game. The reason is mainly because all the kills go on one person, and once that person is shut down (adc), then game over. This is what happened to most of my duo queue games. I feel that you need to play a carry position with your duo. Like adc and mid. The only issue is that you can't guarantee that adc will be fed.

I think the thing that made me realize what I needed to do, was a recent game where I was playing Annie support, it was a team fight, my team was all at nearly full health, the opponents was at half health even the tanks. I flash + Tibbers stun an my team literally did nothing. I pinged, said I was engaging, all the communication I the game would allow an they did nothing. At the moment I knew, I had to do something else.

alright, but I want to ask from your experience is it hard to get out of bronze 5.

Getting out of Bronze is not hard, but looking at yourself, analyzing your mistakes and short comings, and then improving yourself based on those are hard. Not impossible, mind you, just difficult.

TSA unityinstall1 votes

I will pay attention to more of my own misplays, but I want to ask how do you fare, when you face several people who dont want to listen to you.

Well, it can be tricky. Sometimes you have teams that don't wanna listen to your pings and do their own thing. The best advice I can give for that situation is to support your team and back up the plays your team makes. Even if it is your team taking dragon when you should blow up mid and then get it, stick with them so you don't get caught out and turn it into a 4v5.

Sometimes they just don't wanna listen, then you have to just try your best, spam ping objectives when you want your team to take them and be supportive in the chat. If they don't listen to you, remain calm, don't flame or harrass, and figure out how you can make the best of what your crazy team wants. If they wanna teamfight and lose the game, at least you can know that you tried to help them. As long as you understand why it was a bad move, you can hopefully stop it in future games, or, at least, be confident in the fact that you weren't the sole reason for the loss.

TSA unityinstall1 votes

I think the reason why I lose games, is mainly because of the fact that, I noe it was a bad call, and I abandon my team. I always feel that i shouldn't engage on a bad call.

I can understand that, and at those times, I'll let my team engage like the baddies they are, watch how the enemy reacts and then try to protect my carries as best I can. Sometimes it is better to leave people to die, but usually, it is best to back your team up and try to turn that bad engage into a great teamfight. Sometimes putting your body in front of the carries stops them from getting dove and you can maybe squeak out an advantage. Sometimes, when you are at 10% health, run away from your team perpendicularly, possibly splitting the other teams focus and allowing your carries to get some good dmg in. When in doubt, peel for your carries.

TSA unityinstall1 votes

thing is that tank meta ultimately disrupts 1 v 5 champs or 2 v 5 champs. This meta requires ultimate teamwork, which the team does not have. It is good for high elo teams who have coordination.

Antonok1 votes

Choose Teemo, split push all game. Shroom the jungle and they'll usually either die, or be half health when they come to stop you.

TSA unityinstall1 votes

Do you think that I need to learn champs that are like more teemo like. In terms of annoying.

Antonok1 votes

Hard carries, and split pushers are good for bronze/silver. Top and ADC are the best roles for it, as supports usually lack damage (tho a fed annie is down right scary in any role), and same usually goes for mid mages (things like Zed, Yas, Heimer have good split pushing though).

Another (always) good suggestion I can offer is learn to CS. If you can manage to get 70-80 CS by 10 minutes (typical bronze count is around 30-50), even if you die 2ce in lane you're still even/ahead of most of the enemy team. You can practice CSing by going into a custom game. If you can go into a 1v1 with an intermediate ziggs bot and manage 90+ cs with atleast 1 kill on the ziggs, you can easily beat any lane opponent in bronze.

TSA unityinstall1 votes

I already do cs practicing, but the thing is that i play from China, so the ping is a detriment to my cs. If you look at my match history, I had been improving that skill ever since.

this is true, it's not possible for people to get out of bronze v

people in bronze 4+, silver/gold/plat/diamond/masters/challengers are actually clever bots designed by riot to make you feel worse about your current state, they don't even really exist as people and they don't play real games

i honestly think bronze is super easy to get out of. But that is just me.

S2C2Xd9KOy1 votes

Your match history just made me cry. Won 3 ranked games then lost 3. RIP :( And if you're a good Yasuo, ignore what I said about Vi lol. Just play him. He has a knock, good mobility, good tower push and a lot of damage.

Think bronze 5 is hard? try B1 series. Got bumped down to B3 and it was a joke got to B1 and i honestly feel like S5 are bigger trolls then B5

TSA unityinstall1 votes

People try in your elo, when people see a unconventional pick in b5 they afk. I once afk for 3 min, go the best kda and cs eventually. But they still gave up....

Troy2426211 votes

In lower ELO you just cannot trust your team. So, I'd suggest that, while tanks are really good, that you not use them (and try to avoid the Support role as much as you can). It'll be downvoted but the truth is, you CAN NOT rely on your allies, and tanks/support is too reliant on teamwork to carry in lower ELO.

I'm not saying bomb the team comp but I am saying, if you have the choice, I'd opt for the damage dealer.

TSA unityinstall1 votes

Guys please disregard my recent match history. I had internet issues, and that is why my kda and my cs is horrible. Playing more normals recently.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunning%E2%80%93Kruger_effect just by saying you think its hard to get out of but you dont think you are good is a lie, if you knew you were bad you wouldnt say its hard to get out of, i once did it by winning 20 games straight

TSA unityinstall1 votes

statistically speaking that is really hard to achieve. Either you are a smurf, or either you are not in this elo. High elo members even admit that going on a 10 win streak on bronze 5 elo is a challenge. They may be good, but winning 20 games in a row is a stretch. BTW did you get out of assasin meta, season 4. That time 1 v 5 champs were prevalent, and that you could legit carry games.
