I love League of Legends, But there are some serious issues that I don't feel have been addressed. I think there is a serious need that Riot fixes this. I know I hate it; and the rest of the community hates it when you are doing really well then all of a sudden you start losing games because of AFK and Feeders. I understand this is not an issue Riot as a company can really control, but I have suggestions. I sincerely hope they consider something along these lines.

For AFKers; sometimes it is not their fault. However that doesn't mean that the other 4 players that had the displeasure of being on their team should just auto lose 20 lp when they honestly have less than a 20% chance of winning, either greatly reduce the LP loss of teams that had an afk, or do not charge them at all.

Feeders, after 4 deaths and no kills within a 3-6 minute time period you should bring a notification on their screen telling them they are feeding, and if they continue this they will possibly face punishment, if they get another 2 deaths before 12 minutes from their 1st death a second screen can pop up saying "If one person on your team reports you for feeding you will be placed on low priority for 10 games or something like that. At the same time you could then reduce the lp loss of their team mates by 50%. Of course this could be tweaked if you are in the support role, but not by much, maybe just allow supports to have to get 2 assists every 4 deaths in the 3-6 minutes or something.

I think Riot needs to be more understanding when teams have afkers and feeders that that team should not be treated like they are just losing because they aren't as good, that isn't the case. Its moments like having feeders and afkers that you remember when you decide if you want to play overwatch or league, if you want to buy that new skin or would rather not give 5 dollars to a company that hasn't done much in 7 years to fix issues that leave you feeling like you didn't just waste 20 minutes but you also just lost 20 lp for nothing.

So if I get trashed by a snowballing Darius or Pantheon in plat+, I am a feeder and deserve to be banned.

Meanwhile, there are literally millions of bronzies who are way worse than I am, yet will not be banned.

lol, if you are going to ban people for doing bad, ban every bronze account first.

Riot is addressing the issue as best they can. Those that AFK usually receive a ban or a warning with the first or second disconnect. They're also implementing the /remake command to drop out of games that have a d/c.

Feeders, however, are a completely different beast. You can't punish or ban somebody for getting thrashed 0/3 by Darius if they're having a bad game, got matched to a smurf, had lag issues, or simply got outclassed. I would imagine some kind of IP loss reduction can be applied to team members that didn't feed (assuming there isn't some sort of minor system in place already), but you can't make that a punishable offense because it can't be accurately measured.

AFK's are 99% peoples fault. The 1% for life or death emergencies which will be a rare thing. Consistent AFK's, which includes DC's should be treated exactly like chat discipline. RIOT can fix it but they just don't have the balls to fix it.

1st offense = 10 bot games 2nd offense = 20 bot games 3rd offense = 2 week ban 4th offense = account is permanently banned

Stop slapping people on the wrist for AFK's with some stupid low priority que BS.

AFK - they are adding remake in for people that are afk or cannot load in at start. Just have to deal with it still later on. As I just said in another post, the -lp loss for team with afk/dc can be abused. When you know you lost a game, a friend of higher rank can just eat the 100% lp loss to have his friend/teammates loss less lp resulting in boosting of ranking.

Feeding - The game does not know if they are feeding, most players on their team do not know if a lane is feeding. That person could be getting tower dove past 2 towers by most of the other team. Is that feeding still? You're asking for something crazy here, again most players do not know when others are feeding, yet you plan on the game to just screw people over because numbers do not add up. So you know feeding is where someone just runs to death, they do not defend themselves or even attack the other team. Someone trying to survive his lane while under tower isn't really feeding. The support part made me face palm.

Dude feeders and afk have been a thing for MOBAs for longer time period. Be thankful you didn't play dota 1 back in the day. Where since it was third party you could do what ever you wanted. Normal games you had more odds of someone leaving the game then you had of winning the game it felt like. Even the inhouse leagues had problems with afk, feeders, leavers. Also had to deal with a much bigger problem of map hackers.

Just had a nasus feed 6 kills to enemy garen within 7 mins

Then he went afk for 5mins. He wouldn't listen to our advice, so he fed somemore....

Its very disappointing that people do this, it makes you not wanna play anymore.

His excuse was im drunk but he only said that after the other team said we will report him

The worst part is i doubt anything will happen to him and he will join another game and ruin that one too....

I feel like a troll team of assassins would make that feeder suggestion just terrible. If you get jumped by 3+ champs with high engage+burst and they procede to just hunt you specificly all game it would result in a royal screw job for that person.
