Every Bad League Meta in 5 Words

Gee, I enjoy feeling helpless. For half an hour. Early game advantage is clearly counting for far too much right now. It hasn't been often but rito has tweaked the game to give teams a better come back chance in the past. Lately it seems like one team or the other just stomps after a single decent teamfight. The one-shotting lethality builds and Zoe Zoe aren't helping either. Which it might if they were in the team behind... most often though that behind team hasn't been able to give glass cannon Jarvan JarvanIV his Duskblade item 3147 by the time he's needed.

I feel like... if you're going to say f*@& it and make the idea of balance in the game for everyone to be putting out enough damage to kill in 1.5 seconds or less... then you should at least make sure at least every class of champions can do that. Mages are hurting bad right now (and Swain is strong evidence of this btw)

Even still... jesus dude. 80% of the player base is below gold (unless things have changed since I last read rankings). We don't have that kind of reaction time. Frankly no one has the kind of reaction time needed to avoid being one-shot by Caitlyn Caitlyn ...either way please just try to keep in mind we aren't LCS players. As much as much of the community might think otherwise sometimes. The vast majority of players would prefer to play the game for fun. The extreme damage and one-sided gameplay just isn't fun right now. It's been a problem with league going on 2 seasons now.

I could tolerate drastic unnecessary and all encompassing over night changes. Rework all my champions when they don't need it as badly as others, that's okay, but when I can do literally nothing after reading hours of guides and YT to figure out wtf the ever shifting meta is and still try to grab someone in some role I might find fun only to be huddled under my turret while hoping for someone to do something when I know no one probably can and just slowly watch as my team loses the game for half an hour... it's not fun.

If I didn't find the other MOBAs so ...gimpy in some way or another and league hadn't been a part of my life for 8 years now I probably woulda been on the GTFO bandwagon with most of my friends. Which btw that too kinda was a fun killer. Most of my friends left the game in between the mass reworks and sudden meta shifts.

Killing casual play Rito. And I've been helplessly watching it for years. item 3070

That seems like a bit more than 5 words.

First sentence is what it is. I obviously go on to elaborate.

The difference between ranks is not reaction time: there's a pretty slim margin of difference between humans in that regard; we all react pretty much at the exact same speed (source). What separates gold from silver and bronze is their game knowledge, strategy, teamwork & communication, ability to 90% cs in lane, (luck), and so on.

There are lots of 1-shot champions, yes: but the important thing about them is they all have counterplay of some degree: And I'm still pissed that Zoe is as good at one shotting as she is and think she needs her E nerfed into the ground and then they need to dig a hole so they can nerf it some more for good measure, she's not the problem.

The problem is that your opponents don't know how to properly capitalize on their advantages: sure they understand how to kill you good, but they don't know how to use that to close the game. Bronze and Silver games last longer than they should because people don't know how to end: and that's where most of your pain is coming from; playing a forty minute game the enemy team should have won ten-twenty minutes ago sucks; but the problem doesn't stem entirely in the champions your playing against.
